Chapter 131 Vivian West

A roar suddenly sounded in his ears, and he immediately broke out in cold sweat.

Before Ryan Holland could get to the bottom of it, he heard the angry roar of the woman on the phone. "Next time you dare to make Nathan Shaw drunk and unconscious, I will burn your law firm and let you live only on air!"

Ryan Holland finally realized that this was not a dream. He looked at the name on the screen and was speechless for a long time.

However, Sierra Moore did not intend to give him a chance to explain. After she finished speaking, she hung up the phone and called Steven Jones.

This guy was also drunk last night. After going home with George Young, he messed around until the middle of the night. When he received the call, he was still in a daze.

"Hello? Who is it?"

Before the person in the dream could wake up, he heard a lioness roar from the other side of the line. "Steven, are you a pig?"

"Am I not?" Steven Jones also thought that he was dreaming, and then he was awakened by the amazing explosive power in his ears.

Sierra Moore took a deep breath and shouted at her phone, "Steven, listen up. Next time Nathan Shaw wants to drink, you have to stop him. If you can't stop him, I will tell him that you have a crush on me. When the time comes, you can just wait to jump into Hudson River!"

"Brother will kill me. Sister-in-law, don't frame me..." Steven Jones quivered and woke up completely. Just as he wailed, Sierra Moore had already hung up the phone.

After the call, Sierra Moore took a deep breath and calmed herself down. When she looked up, she found that the whole house was dark and scary. She shook her body and quickly opened the door to enter.

After she stood outside for a while, her body was cold. She had just gotten into bed when someone pulled her into his arms. "Where did you go?"

His voice was very vague, and it was obvious that he had not woken up.

"To the toilet." Sierra Moore made up nonsense and then bluntly put her cold hands and feet on him. She thought to herself, "Oh, what a warm big pillow."

A long time later, Steven Jones was still holding a grudge. More than once, he complained to Nathan Shaw that Sierra Moore almost scared him out of his wits that night and that it caused him to have nightmares for a long time.

Ryan Holland also chimed in from the side. Honestly, he was also shocked that day. Although he did not have a nightmare like Steven Jones, he was also covered in a cold sweat.

Nathan Shaw heard this kind of complaint with his left ear and out of his right ear and did not care about it at all.

Because of this incident, Sierra Moore did not sleep well at night. She woke up early the next day. She remembered that there was a small kitchen next to the living room downstairs. She did not expect to use it so quickly.

Nathan Shaw was used to waking up early, but the first thing he did when he woke up was not to open his eyes, but to reach out to touch the person beside him.

"Sisi?"

Nathan Shaw, dressed in clothes, came out to look for her. He felt very bad out of a hangover. His headache was about to blast. He vaguely remembered that he had been drunk last night and was clamoring to go home.

However, he had no recollection of how he returned to the old residence.

He pounded his head and was about to go downstairs when he heard Sierra Moore's voice coming from downstairs. "Nathan Shaw, why are you up?"

When Sierra Moore saw him come out, she quickly put down the things in her hands and ran over in her cotton slippers. Her soft fingers pressed on his abdomen. "Why don't you sleep a little longer? Does your stomach still hurt?"

The disappointment he had when he woke up without seeing her around was filled with her tenderness at this moment. Nathan Shaw lowered his head and kissed her gently. "Honey."

Hearing his words, Sierra Moore felt her face turn red. She lowered her head and said, "I called Grandpa to tell him that you are not feeling well. We won't go over there this morning. I made porridge."

"Just you wait. I'll go get it," she said, gently pushing Nathan Shaw away.

Nathan Shaw followed behind her and went downstairs. When he saw her wearing a floral apron and busying herself in the kitchen, his heart suddenly softened.

This kind of life was ordinary, but it was something he had never dared to hope for before. He felt like they were a truly loving couple who lived a simple and warm life.

As George Young said, Nathan Shaw had really changed. Compared to ruling the business world, Nathan Shaw found that he preferred to stay with this little girl and watch her busy for him.

Sierra Moore came out of the kitchen with two bowls of porridge. As soon as she turned around, she saw a person leaning against the door of the kitchen. His gaze was so gentle that it was deadly sweet.

Bang! Bang!

As if hearing the rhythm of her own heartbeat, Sierra Moore stood in place and watched him walk over. His every step seemed to step on the rhythm of her heartbeat. It was so compatible.

At the moment, even the air seemed sweet.

He walked over and put his hands around Sierra Moore's waist. He looked down at the girl in his arms and said in his usual low and pleasant voice, "Honey, let's get married! I want you to marry me again!"

Boom!

There was a ringing in her ears as if something had exploded. She felt as if the world fell into a dead silence and no other sound could be heard.

The words he had just said were repeated in her brain.

"Honey, let's get married!"

"I want you to marry me again!"

She thought to herself, "Was Nathan Shaw proposing to me?"

Sierra Moore looked at him blankly. She felt that her brain had gone on strike. She couldn't make any extra reactions. She didn't know if she was more pleasantly surprised or more shocked.

"If you don't say anything, I'll take it that you agreed."

Nathan Shaw looked at her dazed expression with satisfaction. He took the porridge from her hand and walked out. Just as he reached the door, he heard an annoyed voice from behind him. "No!"

Sierra Moore thought to herself, "How could a proposal be so casual?"

"At the very least, there must be red wine, fresh flowers, and rings!"

After a long reflexive arc, Sierra Moore realized and quickly stamped her feet to catch him up. "You are so casual that it doesn't count. Nathan Shaw, do you hear me?"

Nathan Shaw thought to himself, "In other words, if not for casual words, it could be counted!"

"Alright?"

He still remembered some of what happened last night. He remembered that she was hiding at the door and secretly making phone calls. Nathan Shaw was drinking porridge and the corners of his mouth could not help but curve up.

He thought to himself, "As long as you are willing to take this step, it will not be a waste for me to travel all the way here!"

"Sisi, this time, I want your willingness."

Nathan Shaw went back to the company after breakfast. It would be the annual leave in two days. There were many things waiting for him to deal with in the company.

Sierra Moore also wanted to go with him, but Victoria Shaw called her and said that she would introduce someone to her, so she could only stay with the Shaw Family alone.

After Nathan Shaw left, Sierra Moore took a car to the main courtyard. When she arrived there, she found out that there was a guest at home.

On the sofa in the living room, a few women were chatting. Xiao Jasper was not there, and Sierra Moore wondered if he had returned to the army.

When Iris May saw Sierra Moore come in, she greeted her with a smile, "Sierra! Come here. Let me introduce someone to you."

"Aunt May, aunt." After yesterday's interaction, Sierra Moore was no longer as awkward as yesterday. She smiled and walked over to sit beside Iris May.

Iris May warmly held her hand and said, "Look at how much your aunt spoils you. She saw that you have been bored staying at home for the past two days, so she found someone to chat with you."

"Thank you, aunt," Sierra Moore thanked Victoria Shaw but did not get a response. She could only smile awkwardly.

Fortunately, Iris May was there to ease the situation. She asked about Nathan Shaw's health with concern, "Nate came back very late yesterday, right? This child is really wilful. He doesn't know how to let his family worry less."

Sierra Moore did not dare to judge Mr. Shaw's behavior. She smiled and said, "It's because there were too many things to do in the company."

Seeing her being so protective of Nathan Shaw, Iris May teased, "Look at our young madam. She's protecting Nate so much."

Originally, Sierra Moore didn't mean it like that. But with Iris May's words, the situation really did seem like that. Sierra Moore smiled a little embarrassedly and said, "Nathan Shaw is actually very good to me."

Sierra Moore's words were just a statement of fact, but in the ears of others, they turned into showing off.

At that time, Nathan Shaw's father was also like this. He doted on his wife to the point of being lawless. Now, it was his son's turn again. It would be a wonder if Victoria Shaw was happy.

Feeling the gaze from the side sweep over, Sierra Moore pretended to lower her head and drink her tea.

Of the two elders of the Shaw Family, one treated her coldly, and the other had a face full of love. Sierra Moore complained bitterly in her heart, "This is like a two-layer world of ice and fire."

"Is Grandpa upstairs? I'm going to see him." Sierra Moore wanted to take the opportunity to slip away, but she was stopped by Victoria Shaw as soon as she got up.

"Dad is resting. Don't disturb him."

It was rare for Victoria Shaw to be so "gentle" to Sierra Moore. She smiled and said to Sierra Moore, "Come here first. I'll introduce someone to you."

After saying that, she turned around and pulled the person on the sofa up. She smiled gently and said, "This is Vivian West, the youngest daughter of the West Family. She is now in the army's art troupe."

Only then did Sierra Moore look at the guest today. The person was a very beautiful girl with delicate features, red lips, and white teeth.

However, Sierra Moore had some doubts in her heart, thinking to herself, "Why does she look so much like a person with her temperament?"

"Who is she similar to?"

When Sierra Moore looked at her, Vivian West had already reached out a hand with a smile. She said to Sierra Moore politely, "Just call me Vivian."

"Hello." Sierra Moore hurriedly extended her hand. "My name is Sierra Moore."

Now that they knew each other, everyone sat down and continued chatting.

The two elders chatted about their own matters. Sierra Moore and Vivian West sat together and only occasionally spoke a few words.

After they just had breakfast, there was still sometime before lunch and it was not proper to just sit here and chat. Iris May suggested playing mahjong, and the four of them just happened to form a table of mahjong.

Sierra Moore had only played similar games on the computer and had never touched a real mahjong set. When she heard this proposal, she was completely stunned.

She did not dare to call Nathan Shaw for help, so she had to ask Sophie Lucas for help. In her opinion, there was nothing that could trouble this Eldest daughter of.

Now that the school was on holiday, Sophie Lucas did not have to go to school anymore. She was so idle at home all day. When she received the call, she asked lazily, "What? You don't even know the quintessence of Chinese culture? Don't you know how to ask Baidu?"

Sierra Moore's face was streaked with black lines. "Isn't this inconvenient? And it's already too late to ask Baidu."

The mahjong table was already in place on the other side. Iris May was calling for Sierra Moore to go over. Her voice reached Sophie Lucas on the other side of the line. Sophie Lucas was stunned for a moment and asked Sierra Moore, "Where are you now?"

Sierra Moore replied, "I am at Nathan Shaw's grandfather's house!"
