Chapter 161 He Chased to Marseilles

Sierra Moore's body was fine, so she was in a hurry to leave the hospital.

Leo was from a poor family. When Sierra Moore was in France, she had been funding this family. The money she earned from her own work was mostly sent to this family of three.

However, there were too many things that happened when she returned to the country. She was busy with her own affairs. It had been more than half a year since she had remitted the money. She did not expect that Leo's parents were dead.

The director of the charity house said that Leo was a very obedient child. Not long after his parents passed away, he was sent to the charity house. When he came, he was not afraid at all. He did not cry or make a fuss.

The people of the charity house liked him very much. When they saw other children bullying him, they would help him. If there was a chance to go out, they would bring him along.

But now Leo had been missing for two months, and there was no news at all.

She couldn't leave the missing Leo alone. Sierra Moore had to find him now. However, Marseille was so big that she was unfamiliar with the place. She had no idea where to find him.

"Sisi, are you planning to return to the country directly after leaving the hospital?" Jack Lee asked.

In fact, what he wanted to ask was whether Sierra Moore would go back to find Nathan Shaw.

All of Sierra Moore's thoughts were on Leo, so she had no intention of thinking about anything else. She shook her head and said, "I will stay here for the time being."

Sierra Moore did not tell Jack Lee about the matter of Leo, only saying that she had a reason to stay.

Jack Lee had doted on her in the past, and now he doted on her even more because he felt guilty.

She said she wouldn't go back, and he didn't ask her for a reason. He only had one request he wanted to stay with her.

Jack Lee thought that it was good that Sierra Moore did not want to go back, at least she did not need to see that person.

When the black Land-Rover arrived at Marseilles Hospital, Jack Lee had just finished the discharge formalities.

The car was parked on the opposite side of the road, and half of the window that was covered by sunshade paper was lowered, revealing the man's face wearing sunglasses.

Nathan Shaw looked at the two people walking out of the hospital gate. Since Nathan Shaw didn't see her for half a month, Sierra Moore had lost a lot of weight and her face was pale. It was as white as paper.

Even so, she still forced a smile at the person around her.

Nathan Shaw thought to himself, "After so long, she still couldn't let go."

He repeatedly dialed a number, but it was never connected. The diamond on the black phone was clutched by the palm of his hand, and he felt pain.

Sierra Moore did not see the car on the opposite side of the road. She was thinking about how to tell Jack Lee that she was going to find Leo and that she could not go with him.

At the entrance of the hospital, Nathan Shaw saw the two people stop.

Sierra Moore stopped and said, "Jackie, thank you for coming here personally. I have to stay in Marseille during this period. How about you go back first?"

Jack Lee was still talking about the plan that he would like to take advantage of this time to go out and play and treat it as a trip, and the first stop was the port.

Hearing Sierra Moore's words, he hurried to pull her. "Sisi, I won't ask you what you want to do, but can't you let me stay with you?"

"Jackie..."

"What if I say no?"

The sudden voice shocked Sierra Moore. When she looked up and saw the person walking toward her, the shock in her heart could be imagined.

After the shock, Sierra Moore was also a little happy in her heart. She subconsciously shook off Jack Lee's hands and walked toward him. "Nathan Shaw, why are you here?"

Sierra Moore's voice was light as if she did not see the coldness in the other person's eyes.

The coldness at the corner of Nathan Shaw's mouth was almost frozen, and his deep eyes were also covered with ice dregs. He said sarcastically, "Why am I here? I'm afraid I have to ask you this question."

No matter how obtuse Sierra Moore was, she could tell that Nathan Shaw was angry. She hesitated for a moment and reached out to pull him. "Nathan Shaw, listen to me."

"Shut up. I don't want to hear you talk right now," Nathan Shaw said coldly as he shook her hands off.

Sierra Moore was thrown to the side and almost fell down. After standing firm, she looked at him with the grievance, but she did not dare to speak again.

Jack Lee stood at the side. He was not clear about the matter between Nathan Shaw and Sierra Moore, and he had no right to speak.

He even thought that if Sierra Moore really liked Nathan Shaw and this man could give her happiness, then he would try to let go.

He only hoped that his princess could be happy every day, and nothing else mattered.

He had always thought that no one would be willing to let a girl like Sierra Moore suffer, but now, he saw that his princess was being bullied.

As he saw Nathan Shaw treat Sierra Moore like this, how could Jack Lee endure it?

He pulled Sierra Moore over and just as he opened his mouth to say the word "Xiao", a gust of wind swept across the corner of his mouth, followed by a punch to his eyes.

Nathan Shaw was very ruthless, and his fists were all aimed at Jack Lee's face. He did not give Jack Lee a chance to fight back at all.

His movements were too fast. By the time Sierra Moore reacted, Jack Lee had already suffered several punches.

"Nathan Shaw, what are you doing? Stop!"

Sierra Moore ran over to stop Nathan Shaw, but she was pushed to the ground by him. She grazed her palms and blood oozed out instantly.

"Sisi!" Jack Lee cried out in pain, "Let me see. Have you hurt anywhere?"

Just as Jack Lee's hands touched Sierra Moore's shoulders, someone grabbed him and kicked him to the ground.

Jack Lee wanted to go over and take a look at Sierra Moore's injuries, but he was stopped by Ken with one hand. He could only look at the person who was acting fierce. "Nathan Shaw! How can you do this to her?"

"She is my woman. What I want to do to her is my business!"

Nathan Shaw glanced at him coldly and walked over to help Sierra Moore up. However, she pushed him away forcefully. "Nathan Shaw, are you crazy?"

When she pushed him away, the hint of worry in Nathan Shaw's eyes was instantly covered by coldness. He straightened his body and crossed his arms as he looked at her coldly. "What? Are you feeling distressed now?"

Sierra Moore could feel that something was wrong with Nathan Shaw. She knew that she was wrong this time. Moreover, she did not want to quarrel with him in front of Jack Lee.

She endured it and said to him in a soft-spoken tone, "Nathan Shaw, stop throwing a tantrum."

"Me throwing a tantrum?" Nathan Shaw smiled contemptuously and shook off her hand that was on his arm. "Sierra Moore, have you forgotten what happened at the bar last time?"

He was referring to the incident when Emily Mason had asked someone to kidnap her last time.

Sierra Moore was shocked, thinking to herself, "Did he think that something had happened to me? Was he angry because I left without saying goodbye?"

She muttered inside her heart, "I was wrong."

Just as Sierra Moore was about to say this, she heard Nathan Shaw's cold voice say, "When I was clearing up the mess, I said that if I knew someone dared to touch my woman, I would never forgive them!"

"Nathan Shaw, don't hurt Jackie. He is my friend." Sierra Moore looked at him and saw the look in his eyes when he looked at Jack Lee. She guessed his intention and looked at him in horror.

"Friend?" Nathan Shaw stopped smiling. As he raised his head slightly to signal, someone had already grabbed Jack Lee and walked across the road.

"Jackie!" Sierra Moore wanted to chase Jack Lee but was stopped by Nathan Shaw. She turned to look at him. "Nathan Shaw, you can't treat him like this. He is my..."

"Shut up!" Nathan Shaw tugged at her hair fiercely. He did not want to hurt her, but she had repeatedly touched his bottom line.

He thought to himself, "Is Jack Lee that good?"

He continued to think, "If he really likes her, why would he abandon her at her most difficult time?"

"Who was the one to extend a helping hand at your most difficult time? Who would have the ability to find out the truth of that year and help you get back everything of the Moore Famiy? You'd better think about this clearly."

Sierra Moore was stunned when she heard these words. She thought back to when she married him for that cheque and was forced to stay by his side for that cheque...

He hit her, scolded her, locked her in the dark room, and caused her to break her leg...

Among all of these events, when had he suffered a loss?

Sierra Moore thought that he had clearly taken advantage of her but he was still pretending otherwise. Out of anger, she voiced the words out without thinking them through her head, "I will find out the truth myself. I don't need your help!"

The ruthlessness in his eyes rose. Nathan Shaw took a step forward and grabbed Sierra Moore's chin with one hand. "If you have the guts to say what you just said, say it again!"

The coldness in his eyes seemed to turn into ice, piercing the warmth in her heart.

As if she had seen that bloodthirsty devil again, Sierra Moore trembled all over, but she still stubbornly said, "I don't need your help."

"I don't need your help!"

"I don't need you!"

No other sounds could be heard in his ears. Only these four words repeated over and over again, "I don't need you!"

He thought to himself, "Now that Jack Lee has returned, she no longer needs me!"

"You bitch!" The anger in his mind was getting more and more intense, and his movements were almost out of control as he hit her.

He thought to himself, "Since you are already with me, how could you still think about other men? How could you?"

"Sierra Moore, you liar!" He thought that she once did say that she liked him.

He looked at her fiercely. The blood at the corner of her mouth was a bit dazzling. Although he had controlled his strength in time, he still hurt her. He obviously did not want to hurt her.

Sierra Moore was stunned by this slap. Although Nathan Shaw often threatened to hit her, the number of times he really hit her was very few, and he was reluctant to do it every time.

Her heart ached, not because of this slap, but because of what he had just said.

She clearly didn't want to cry, but her tears just couldn't be controlled, quickly rolling in her eyes. "Nathan Shaw, I want to break up with you!"

Her heart seemed to be empty all of a sudden, and her tears flowed even more urgently because she had said she wanted to break up with him.

"Su! Mo!" Nathan Shaw called out her name in exasperation.

He thought to himself, "What did she just say?

"Break up?"

"Stop daydreaming!"

Nathan Shaw looked at her with scarlet eyes. "Listen, unless I don't want you anymore, you can forget about leaving me!

"Do you believe that I will have someone chop off Jack Lee's legs right now and make him unable to stand up for the rest of his life?"

Sierra Moore had already forgotten to cry. She looked at him in disbelief. "Nathan Shaw, you want to use Jackie to threaten me? How can you?"

"Why can't I?"

Nathan Shaw did not feel that threatening was shameful at all. He looked at her casually and said, "Sierra Moore, listen carefully. If I hear what you just said again, I will kill him!"

Sierra Moore's heart trembled violently, and then she screamed at him, "Nathan Shaw, this is a matter between us. Why did you let him get involved?"
