Chapter 163 How Long Do You Want to Keep me Locked up?

"Nathan Shaw."

Sierra Moore called out his name softly. Just as she opened her mouth to say something, the person on the sofa suddenly stood up.

"If you dare to mention this name again, I will make sure you never see him again." Nathan Shaw stood up and looked at Sierra Moore coldly.

Sierra Moore's face turned pale. Just as she lifted the quilt and was about to get off, Nathan Shaw had already left the room in large strides with a cold aura.

The whereabouts of Leo had yet to be found, and now she was under house arrest by Nathan Shaw. Sierra Moore was so angry that she chased him and shouted, "Nathan Shaw, how long do you want to keep me locked up like this?"

"It depends on your attitude of admitting your mistake," Nathan Shaw said, stopping to look at her.

"I'm just going to see someone. Is that so wrong? Nathan Shaw, what right do you have to lock me up?" Sierra Moore gritted her teeth.

It was this kind of unrepentant attitude that was the most irritating. A sneer hung on the corner of Nathan Shaw's mouth. "What right? Just based on the three words Nathan Shaw, I won't allow you to see him."

During this period, because of the matter about Leo, Sierra Moore was in a very bad condition. Moreover, she had been forced to board the plane by Nathan Shaw's subordinates, so it was already the limit for her to be able to talk to him calmly.

She walked over and looked at Nathan Shaw. "I went to Marseille because there was really something important. It was my fault that I didn't call you in advance. I wanted to explain it to you when I came back. It was just an accident to meet Jackie there."

"Accident?" Nathan Shaw tilted his head and looked at her coldly. "Ah, what a big surprise?"

He thought to himself, "I was about to go crazy from searching for you, but you actually hid with your first love in Marseilles to enjoy romance. It was indeed a huge accident."

Sierra Moore already knew that Nathan Shaw was unreasonable, but she did not expect him to be so stubborn. She had already explained things clearly to him, but he was still talking sarcastically.

Sierra Moore's temper also rose, and she said with a cold face, "Nathan Shaw, if you have something to say, just say it. Why do you have to lock me up? If Grandpa asks..."

"I only brought you to the House of the Shaws to deal with my grandfather. Do you really think you are the Shaw Family's madam?" Nathan Shaw asked coldly.

How hurtful these words were! One would only know after personally experiencing this situation.

Hearing Nathan Shaw's words, Sierra Moore felt her body suddenly tremble. It felt like she had been hit by a car, and her internal organs did not seem to be hers.

"You're not the Shaw Family's madam!"

Sierra Moore bit her lower lip until it turned white, trying not to let him see the turbulence in her eyes. She choked and said, "You are right. Who am I to you? Why should I mention grandpa in front of you?"

As she spoke, her eyes turned red, but she still raised her chin restively. "Nathan Shaw, don't forget that I no longer owe you anything. If you push me too far, I'll leave this place."

In fact, Nathan Shaw regretted it after saying these words, but the current situation did not allow him to be soft-hearted. Before he found out the purpose of her going to Marseille, he could not let her leave the house.

Hearing Sierra Moore say that she wanted to leave, Nathan Shaw only sneered. In the villa, there were six bodyguards inside and outside. If she wanted to leave, she had to walk out of this door.

Sierra Moore had not been back for a month. At first, Nathan Shaw said that she was on a business trip, but it had been so long that she should be back.

Later, the House of the Shaws called the villa to ask about the situation. Ruby Smith and Wendy had long been reminded by Nathan Shaw, so they naturally did not dare to speak the truth.

After all, losing a job was a small matter, but offending Nathan Shaw was a big matter.

Wendy and Ruby Smith did not dare to talk too much about this matter, so as soon as the House of the Shaws called, they only said that Sierra Moore was fine, but they did not dare to let her answer the phone.

Nathan Shaw had made up his mind to give her the silent treatment to the end. From the second week onwards, he would not even return home.

No matter if it was Sierra Moore smashing things or using the hunger strike as a means, he would not care about any big movements of her. Every day, he would hug different beauties and appear on different occasions.

Sierra Moore could only see him on TV every day. She found that the women around him were constantly changing, but the figure of Avery Yates was always around him.

In the past, when he doted on her, Nathan Shaw had said that he had nothing to do with Avery Yates. The reason why he treated Avery Yates differently from others was that he had promised someone to take care of her.

At that time, he still cared about Sierra Moore's feelings and rarely went to the same place as Avery Yates did.

But now, everyone said that Avery Yates had regained his favor.

Sierra Moore suddenly realized that she knew too little about Nathan Shaw. She knew nothing about his family and his past.

Because of the house arrest, Sierra Moore's mood had been very low, and she became more and more silent.

She stopped reading the newspaper with Nathan Shaw's photos printed on it. Nathan Shaw was afraid that she would contact Sophie Lucas, so he asked someone to ban the family network. She couldn't go online and couldn't do anything.

Every day, she could only ask Ruby Smith to help her investigate the situation in Marseilles. She did not even miss the news or weather forecast. The parts of any piece of a newspaper mentioning any information about French would be all cut-down.

Seeing Sierra Moore like this, Wendy suspected that she was possessed. Wendy called Nathan Shaw to come back and persuade Sierra Moore, but he said that he was busy.

During this period, Sierra Moore was in great pain. Even in her dreams, she dreamed that she had gone to Marseille.

She thought to herself, "That child, that child, I have never seen him before."

Ruby Smith found that Sierra Moore had changed. Sierra Moore could hold the painting book and kept drawing without speaking a single word for the whole day. The scenery in the painting was very strange. She had never seen it before.

During the period when Sierra Moore was under house arrest, everything was normal outside.

A month ago, the jewelry advertisement that was shot in Provence was released in several countries after being edited. Now, Sierra Moore was a well-known spokesperson for Marshall Jewelry.

Because Sierra Moore's outstanding performance was widely praised, now many business partners wanted to find her to advertise, and some producers asked Skyreach Corporation and wanted to find Sierra Moore to act in roles in TV dramas.

Unfortunately, no matter how sincere they were, they were unable to see Sierra Moore in person.

Over the past month, Lisa was the one handling all of Sierra Moore's matters. She could vaguely sense that something was wrong between the two of them.

But as a competent secretary, she could not explore the secrets of the boss.

Although she did not want to probe further, she was still inevitably dragged into it.

When Lisa drove to the villa, Sierra Moore was sitting on the balcony on the second floor and drawing, but no matter how she drew, she could not draw the scenery in her memory.

Ruby Smith knocked on the door and came in. "Miss, someone has come to see you. She is downstairs."

Sierra Moore thought that she had heard wrong. She thought to herself, "Since Nathan Shaw is eager to isolate me now, how could he let someone come to the villa to see me?"

"Miss?" After Ruby Smith repeated it again, Sierra Moore finally reacted.

She hurriedly stopped the brush in her hand and ran barefoot to the balcony. At a glance, she saw the white mini, which was Lisa's car, parked on the courtyard side.

Sierra Moore quickly put on her shoes and ran downstairs.

Lisa had long guessed that Sierra Moore and the president were in an argument. Otherwise, the president would not be so abnormal during this period. However, she did not expect that the matter was so serious.

She was very curious in her heart, thinking to herself, "What exactly happened? The president actually wanted to put Sierra Moore under house arrest in this garden?"

However, as the president's secretary, she did not ask what she should not know. This was basic professional conduct.

"Lisa, you are here."

When Sierra Moore saw Lisa sitting in the living room, she quickly walked toward her. She held Lisa's hand and said, "Lisa, can you help me persuade Nathan Shaw? He refuses to listen to me."

"Sierra Moore, he is my boss, and I am only his secretary. He won't listen to my advice." Lisa looked at Sierra Moore awkwardly.

Sierra Moore originally thought that the situation would change when she saw Lisa. After all, without Nathan Shaw's permission, the bodyguards at the door would not allow anyone to come in.

However, after hearing Lisa's euphemistic rejection, Sierra Moore sat down in disappointment. She hated Nathan Shaw to death in her heart.

She thought to herself, "When this person was kind, he held me high up in the sky. When he was vicious, he was like a demon that ate me without spitting bones. He is really hateful."

Seeing that Sierra Moore was a little disappointed, Lisa couldn't bear it and felt a little guilty when she remembered that her purpose for coming to the villa today was not pure.

Lisa moved closer to Sierra Moore and held her hand as she said, "I have been with the president for so long, but I have never seen him have such patience for anyone."

"Sierra Moore, in fact, the president really treats you very well. Why do you have to anger him?"

What Lisa did not say was that Sierra Moore had angered Nathan Shaw and that it was his subordinates who were suffering.

Now, Nathan Shaw stayed in the company almost every day. He did not leave after work. Every department in the company had to accompany him to work overtime. If he was not satisfied with anything, he would be furious.

Over the past month, the president's office was covered in dark clouds. The entire company was trembling with fear. No one dared to speak too much, afraid of angering the tyrant president.

Seeing Wendy bring the fruit over, Lisa paused for a moment and did not continue.

Wendy added tea to Lisa's cup and turned to ask Sierra Moore, "Miss, do you want the guest to stay for a meal?"

"Nates," Sierra Moore said, nodding.

However, Lisa said that she still had something to do and could not stay for a meal. She knew that she could not stay here for too long.

Although Lisa could not help Sierra Moore persuade Nathan Shaw to let her out, she could help Sierra Moore send messages out.

At the thought of this, Sierra Moore's heart lit up again. She quickly pulled Lisa's hand and said, "Lisa, can you do me a favor? I can't get out now, but I have one thing to do."

Lisa nodded, seemingly considering that this was not a betrayal of the boss. "Alright, go ahead," she said.

Sierra Moore said, "I'm looking for someone. His name is Leo. Almost two and a half months ago, he went missing in the child charity house in Marseilles. I can't get out. Can you help me tell Sophie Lucas and ask her to help me find the child?"

Lisa could never have imagined that Sierra Moore went to Marseilles to find someone, and the person was a missing orphan.

Sierra Moore continued, "You can't let Nathan Shaw know about this. Lisa, you are the only one who can help me now. Please!"

When Lisa left the villa, she received a call and drove to Serenity Clubhouse.

"President." Lisa met Nathan Shaw in the private room.

As he saw her come in, Nathan Shaw's expression did not change. He casually pointed to the sofa opposite him. "Here you are! Sit down."
