Chapter 171 Bribe

Gideon Cooper was pondering over Nathan Shaw's thoughts when he saw him walk over with a wine glass in his hand. "I wonder if I have the honor to invite Second Young Master to a drink?"

Even though Nathan Shaw personally came to propose a toast, Gideon Cooper still did not get up. Second Young Master held a glass of wine and looked at Nathan Shaw with a forced smile. "Mr. Shaw is too polite."

After he finished speaking, he raised his wrist and drank up all the wine that was worth a thousand gold coins.

Gideon Cooper turned his glass upside down and looked at Nathan Shaw provocatively, "Its up to you, Mr. Shaw, but its bottoms up for me."

When he said this, it was obvious that he was looking down on Nathan Shaw, but unfortunately, Nathan Shaw did not take the bait. He smiled and similarly gulped it down.

Gideon Cooper was willing to give Nathan Shaw face to drink, so he was willing to make him a friend.

At this time, Hudson Stewart was very observant and took the initiative to change seats with Nathan Shaw. He hugged his beauty called Zoe and went to chat with Steven Jones, giving them space over there.

Nathan Shaw wasn't pretentious. He sat down in Hudson Stewart's seat and poured the wine for Gideon Cooper.

"Is this the first time Second Young Master has come to New York?" Nathan Shaw asked casually.

Gideon Cooper comfortably hugged the beauty and leaned against the sofa. When he heard this, he narrowed his eyes and looked at Nathan Shaw. "What? Would Mr. Shaw like to invite me to visit around?"

"I still need to see if Second Young Master is willing to give me the honor." Nathan Shaw nodded indifferently.

"Nates, of course. Who would dare to not give face to Mr. Shaw?" Gideon Cooper pushed the woman aside and sat up.

On the other side, Steven Jones and Hudson Stewart called Celeste Everett to play cards together, but the attention of the three people was on the other side.

Seeing that Gideon Cooper was ignoring Nathan Shaw and was still mocking him, Steven Jones was unhappy and his young master's temper flared up.

He pushed away the person in his arms, got up, walked over, and sat down on the other side of Gideon Cooper.

After sitting down, Steven Jones lit a cigarette and looked at Gideon Cooper through the smoke. "I heard that Second Young Master is good at racing. I also know a little about it. Why don't we go race a few rounds later?"

Gideon Cooper blew away the smoke that floated in front of him and looked at Steven Jones with a teasing gaze. "If I said that I was in a hurry and did not bring a car, Mr. Jones would definitely think that I was deliberately avoiding it."

"Don't worry, Second Young Master. The car isn't a problem," Steven Jones said as he took a drag on his cigarette, peered past Gideon Cooper, and looked at Nathan Shaw.

Gideon Cooper smiled and said, "Mr. Jones has already said so much. If I refuse again, wouldn't I be too petty?"

"Then, it's settled." Steven Jones immediately decided.

The two clinked glasses and smiled at each other. Sometimes, a man's friendship was just that simple.

In the following time, Nathan Shaw rarely spoke. On the contrary, Steven Jones and Gideon Cooper connected well. The two of them shared a lot of interests.

For example, racing, or picking up girls.

As if they had agreed to each other, no one took the initiative to mention the project of the water park throughout the night.

The few of them drank, sang, played cards, and played with women all the way until midnight.

When they came out of Starlight Nightclub, Gideon Cooper was obviously a little drunk. He felt like he was floating in the air as he walked on the ground.

This person was also not afraid of death. He had already drunk so much, yet he still dragged Steven Jones and insisted on having a car race.

Ken drove the car over. Nathan Shaw said to Hudson Stewart, "Why don't we send Second Young Master back to the hotel to rest first? You guys can take my car."

Hudson Stewart had drunk quite a bit of wine, and he could not drive back in this state, so he nodded and said, "Alright, I'll have to trouble you, Brother Nanye."

Nodding to Nathan Shaw, Hudson Stewart helped Gideon Cooper into the car. "Second Young Master, you drank too much. Let's go back to the hotel to rest."

It was said that drunk people were the most difficult to deal with. Hudson Stewart even helped Gideon Cooper to the side of the car, but the person who was pushed away almost fell down.

Gideon Cooper was not willing to go back to the hotel. He patted the roof of the car and shouted, "What time is it? Can you play or not? If you can't play, get out. I'll call someone else to accompany me."

Even though Hudson Stewart knew that he could not argue with a drunk person, Gideon Cooper still made him spit out blood.

Hudson Stewart looked at Nathan Shaw awkwardly. With Second Young Master Cheng like this, what else could they do if they didn't return to the hotel?

Nathan Shaw did not intend to help him out. He looked at Hudson Stewart indifferently, meaning that Gideon Cooper was brought here by Hudson Stewart. Now, Hudson Stewart had to deal with Gideon Cooper.

Hudson Stewart understood what he meant and went to persuade the drunkard with a sad face, "Second Young Master, let's go back and take a bath first to have a good sleep. We can play again tomorrow when we wake up, okay?"

"Not good! I won't go back to the hotel." Gideon Cooper was not completely drunk or unconscious since he still recognized Steven Jones. "Didn't Mr. Jones say that he wanted to race two rounds? I'm in a good mood today, so I'll race two rounds with you."

Steven Jones looked at Nathan Shaw and whispered into his ears, "Bro, what should we do now?"

Nathan Shaw looked at the drunk man with his deep eyes. It was said that one could see a person's character from his alcohol tolerance. By the looks of Gideon Cooper, he was actually rather mediocre.

"Get someone to drive that car over first."

Steven Jones looked at Nathan Shaw in disbelief. "He's already like this, and you're still letting him do as he pleases? What if something happens?"

Nathan Shaw's eyes moved and he said with certainty, "Nothing will happen."

On the other side, Steven Jones went to make a phone call to arrange the things that Nathan Shaw had instructed him to do. On the other side, Gideon Cooper had done something astonishing again.

"Get out of the car." Gideon Cooper was drunk and even more difficult to be fooled than when he was not drunk. He directly walked over and pulled the driver out of the car and sat in the car.

"Don't get in the car if you're afraid of death," Gideon Cooper said as he got into the car and stuck his drunken head out the window.

Nathan Shaw took a deep look at him and said a few words to Ken before getting into the car one by one.

Seeing that Nathan Shaw had already gotten into the car, Steven Jones could only bite the bullet and get in. Only Hudson Stewart looked at the drunkard in the driver's seat suspiciously.

"Well, I suddenly remembered that our Old Master seemed to be looking for me. What about I go back first? You three brothers have fun!"

"Screw you!" Steven Jones had just sat down when he kicked Hudson Stewart's butt. "Even if the emperor of heaven is looking for you today, you have to refuse it."

After kicking Hudson Stewart into the car, Steven Jones was the last to get into the car. However, before he could even close the door, the car drove off.

"I think I should call Georgie first and ask him to reserve a bed for me." Steven Jones could not help but curse as he fell into the back seat.

After the call went out, he thought of Nathan Shaw again, so he turned to him and asked, "Bro, do you want it?"

Nathan Shaw turned to look at him but did not say anything.

Seeing that Nathan Shaw closed his eyes and did not speak, Steven Jones smacked his lips and whispered, "What do you mean? Do you want it or not?"

Gideon Cooper seemed to be really drunk. He stepped on the accelerator to the end and the car quickly crossed the middle of the road. It was clearly terror at midnight, but he was still very proud.

He violently steered the wheel as he muttered, "Look, they were all left behind by me."

Hudson Stewart sat in the passenger seat. He was so scared by Gideon Cooper's earthworm-like driving skills that his face turned pale. He kept saying, "Second Young Master, please do me a favor. I have both elders and children to support. I don't want to see Buddha!"

He was nagging along the way like Tang Monk. Steven Jones reached out to slap his head. "Where do your children come from? Buddha? Screw your Buddha!"

In fact, Steven Jones had been trying to hold on, because Young Master Cheng's driving skills were really worrying. Several times, he drove to the opposite lane and almost hit the guardrails on the side of the road.

In contrast with these two people, Nathan Shaw's reaction was much calmer. Along the way, he was resting with his eyes closed. He was not worried about Second Young Master Cheng's driving skills at all.

Gideon Cooper glanced at the rear-view mirror intentionally or unintentionally. He saw the expressions of the three people in the car, and a playful smile appeared on his lips.

He thought to himself, "There is such a figure in the Shaw Family from the south, Nathan Shaw. Interesting."

Second Young Master Cheng was going to race two rounds. No one could persuade him, so Hudson Stewart could only act as artificial navigation and guide him.

When they were almost reaching the ending point, there was a detour. When Gideon Cooper made a turn, he was extremely excited and stepped on the accelerator, the speed almost reaching the limit.

The car drifted over and threw the people in the car to the side, causing them to suddenly howl like ghosts and howl like wolves.

In the end, the car drove to a highway section and directly made a 360-degree turn in the middle of the road. The tires made a harsh sound of friction.

Until now, the extremely fast soul-shaking journey was finally over.

As soon as the car stopped, Hudson Stewart scrambled out of the car and squatted on the side of the road, retching desperately.

Steven Jones's face was also a little pale. He was obviously trying to hold on.

This person obviously forgot about the pain after the scar was healed. After getting out of the car, he kicked Hudson Stewart's butt again and laughed at him gloatingly.

"I say, Little Junjun, are you pregnant? Whose child?"

Hudson Stewart spat out a mouthful of blood. He endured the discomfort and rushed forward. He pinched Steven Jones's neck and said, "Steven! I will fight you to the death today!"

Steven Jones was no longer the Steven who only knew how to hide behind others. After being choked by Hudson Stewart, he immediately responded.

His long arm reached behind Hudson Stewart and grabbed the back of the other party's collar, throwing Hudson Stewart over his shoulder.

"fuck!" Before Hudson Stewart could figure out what was going on, he had already been thrown to the ground like a dead dog, his internal organs instantly displaced.

Hudson Stewart grimaced in pain as he rubbed his butt and said, "Steven, don't fall into my hands."

Steven Jones was not afraid of Hudson Stewart. He crossed his arms and raised his eyebrows. "I will wait for you."

Just as the two were playing around, the people in the car made a deal.

"Then, it's settled." Gideon Cooper had an evil smile on his face. How could there be any trace of drunkenness on his face?

Nathan Shaw nodded and got out of the car.

"What happened?" Nathan Shaw walked over and asked Hudson Stewart, who was rubbing his arms angrily.

"Brother Nanye."

Just as Hudson Stewart was about to reveal a certain person's crime, Steven Jones grabbed him by the shoulder. "It's fine, it's fine. I was just playing with Youngest!"

Hudson Stewart was furious on the spot, and he kicked Steven Jones's calf and scolded him, "Steven, you are the youngest. Your whole family is all the youngest."

Steven Jones was speechless.

No longer caring about the two crazy people, Nathan Shaw turned to face Gideon Cooper who was walking toward him.

"AK has just produced a limited-edition ultimate racing car. I've already asked someone to drive the car over. Second Young Master can just test the car today."

This was a blatant bribe. Gideon Cooper looked at the sports car that was roaring on the track and said neither lightly nor heavily, "What if I say I want this one?"
