Chapter 51 She Got Bold

Sierra Moore did not know that she had such an effect. She had a dream, a bad dream.

She dreamed that she was standing on an empty street. She couldn't find her grandfather, parents, or Jack Lee.

"Dad, mom, don't leave me..."

As soon as Nathan Shaw walked over, he saw Sierra Moore frowning with a struggling expression.

"Did you have a nightmare?" He squatted down beside her and pressed his slender fingers on her furrowed brows. "What did you dream of?" He asked softly, smoothing her eyebrows.

His voice seemed to penetrate the dream, and the cement road beneath her feet disappeared, replaced by clusters of colorful and beautiful flowers.

It was as if she had returned to the small town in Provence. The afternoon sun was warm, sprinkling on her face. The handsome boy held her hand and walked over to the flower fields one after another.

"President, Mr. Lee from Summit Real Estate is here. John is greeting him in the second meeting room." As the sound of knocking rang, Lisa came in as soon as Nathan Shaw stood up.

Nathan Shaw raised an eyebrow and asked, "Which Mr. Louisn?"

Lisa said, "It's Mr. Louisn Junior, the only son of Mr. Louisn."

Seeing that Nathan Shaw was silent, Lisa continued, "The other party said that you seem to have some misunderstandings about his girlfriend. Regarding the project that our company is collaborating with their company, he hopes to meet you and discuss it in detail."

When Nathan Shaw asked people to do that, he had already guessed that such a day would come. This was not the first time he had heard this nameJack Lee.

Nathan Shaw thought to himself, "We will meet, but not now."

"Tell him I'm in a meeting."

Lisa was surprised by his decision, but she still went out to call John Smith immediately and told him, "The president is in a meeting now and can't leave. You can think of a way to send Mr. Louisn away."

The two of them had been following Nathan Shaw for a long period, so he understood when Lisa said this. However, he did not understand why Nathan Shaw had avoided this person even though he had come.

Sierra Moore seemed to have heard someone talking and slept for a while before waking up.

When she sat up, the blanket on her body slipped down, but she knew nothing about it. She rubbed her eyes and slowly adapted to the light. She looked at the person next to her in confusion. "Why are you here?"

"This is my office." Nathan Shaw glanced at her and reminded her.

"Why would I be here?" Sierra Moore asked.

As soon as she finished speaking, she remembered that Nathan Shaw had called her to talk about the house at noon. He had been busy, but she fell asleep accidentally.

She thought to herself, "Wait, what time is it now?"

Sierra Moore looked at the time on the phone and shivered. She had slept for more than two hours?

"It's over. Why didn't you wake me up?"

Seeing her sitting up in a panic and putting on her shoes, Nathan Shaw finally put down the iPad in his hand and turned to look at her. "What are you doing?"

"Of course, I'm going to work."

Seeing that this person was so flustered that she couldn't even put on her shoes, Nathan Shaw sighed and squatted down to help her tie her shoes. "Don't be in such a hurry. Lisa has already asked for leave for you in the afternoon."

Sierra Moore was already shocked by Master Xiao's condescension. She didn't even hear what he said clearly. She just looked at him half-squatting on the ground and felt a little touched.

Lisa knocked on the door and came in at this time. When she saw her Big Boss's actions, she was slightly shocked. Then, she quickly said, "Sorry, I'll come back later."

Sierra Moore was so embarrassed that she wanted to stop Lisa, but the other party did not give her the chance. Lisa had already gone out the moment she opened her mouth.

"Alright." After Nathan Shaw helped her tie her shoelaces, he did not immediately get up. He just knelt on one knee on the ground and looked up at her. His gaze was so straight that it entered her eyes.

"Nathan Shaw, are you so good to every lover?" Sierra Moore looked down at him with a complicated expression.

Nathan Shaw's eyes moved, hinting at her, "No."

He thought to himself, "Only you. I only treat you well."

A hint of sweet joy rose in Sierra Moore's heart, but when she thought of her embarrassing profession as a mistress, her mood plummeted again. She found that she was becoming more and more greedy now.

As Lisa came in at this time, Sierra Moore thought she must have something important to do. "Stay here if you have nothing to do in the afternoon. I'll take you to the place where you live tonight."

Sierra Moore originally wanted to go back to work, but when she heard this, she immediately forgot her work duties and said excitedly, "Then I will go back and pack my things now."

Sierra Moore was excited at the mention of moving, but someone had already prepared everything for her.

"I've already gotten someone to pack up your things and send them over. There's a lounge inside. If you're tired, go in and lie down for a while. I'll call you when I'm done."

Sierra Moore had slept for an entire afternoon. How could she still be sleepy?

Even if she could be, her sleepiness was driven away by the excitement of escaping from the demon claw, so she waved at Big Boss and said, "No need, no need. Just do what you need to do. Don't worry about me."

Following the order, Lisa pushed the door and came in again. She stood straight and reported her work in front of Nathan Shaw. "President, Mr. Louisn has already gone back. He asked John to tell you that he wants to treat you to a meal after work."

There was a past between Sierra Moore and Jack Lee, and Lisa knew a little about it. Seeing that Nathan Shaw pursed his lips and did not speak, she could not help but look at Sierra Moore.

Sierra Moore was still excited. Seeing Lisa look over, Sierra Moore hurriedly said to her, "You guys can chat. Don't worry about me." After that, she hugged Nathan Shaw's iPad and went to play.

Lisa didn't know what to say when Sierra Moore walked away carelessly. She just looked at Nathan Shaw and waited for his instructions.

"Let's postpone the dinner until tomorrow," Nathan Shaw instructed.

Lisa nodded, "Do you need me to book a table for you for dinner today?"

Nathan Shaw glanced at the person playing with a chair in front of the floor-to-ceiling window and shook his head, "I have to leave early later. I have something to deal with with with Mr. Jones after work."

This meant that if there was nothing important, he should not be disturbed.

Lisa understood what he meant and nodded. "Okay, I understand. Then, if there is nothing else, I will go out to work first."

The mobile phone on the table kept ringing. Nathan Shaw had no choice but to give up calling Sierra Moore. He picked up the mobile phone and saw that it was from Avery Yates.

"Nate, are you off work? Elsa will arrive by plane at seven o'clock tonight. I'll come up to you now. Let's pick her up after work!"

Nathan Shaw said with no interest, "I have something to do tonight."

He still had to look at a certain someone's overly surprised expression!

Avery Yates let out a disappointed "em" and asked him, "What's the matter? Do you need to socialize at work? Do you need me to accompany you?"

"No need."

He had no intention of explaining at all, which made Avery Yates a little disappointed. However, she was still very considerate and said, "Since you have a dinner party tonight, I will help you pick up Elsa. Don't worry. I will definitely send your precious sister to the hotel."

Nathan Shaw was noncommittal. He hung up the phone and walked toward Sierra Moore.

She was playing Tetris. It was a classic game, but she was not good at playing it. The iPad screen was a mess, and it looked like the tetris was almost piled up to the top.

"What should Ido? What should Ido?" Sierra Moore cried out nervously. Seeing that there was no way out, she could no longer save the game.

Soon, two words flashed across the screen, "GAME OVER."

"I won't play anymore. I won't play anymore." The angry person closed the game, but the expression on her face clearly showed that she was unwilling. What a childish girl!

"Can't you play such a simple game?" Thinking to himself, Nathan Shaw couldn't help but laugh. He pressed his hand on the swivel chair to stop her. "Won't you feel dizzy if you turn around like this?"

When Sierra Moore saw him, she immediately put on a pitiful look to seek comfort, "Nates, yes! I lost because I was dizzy."

"You're so stupid." As expected, Nathan Shaw comforted her, rubbing her hair.

Sierra Moore thought to herself, "Is this comforting?"

Sierra Moore ground her teeth, thinking to herself, "I am in a good mood today, so I won't argue with you."

After Nathan Shaw arranged everything, he packed up his things and got ready to get off work.

Seeing that he was about to leave, Sierra Moore immediately threw the iPad aside and hurriedly helped him get his coat. "Your Majesty, I will help you change."

It had been a long time since he had seen her flattering look. Nathan Shaw looked down at her, "Do you really not want to live in the villa?"

"No." Sierra Moore nodded vigorously. She was obviously a little too excited. She was almost as excited as a servant who was able to turn her life around.

A cold snort came from the top of her head, waking her up from her excitement. Her small body shook a little, and then she said insincerely, "Actually, it's because my sleeping posture is too bad. I'm afraid it will affect Your Majesty's rest."

How could her sleeping posture be described with only one word "bad"?

"You know your place," Nathan Shaw said.

Her saying it was one thing, but hearing him say it was another. Sierra Moore felt uncomfortable and did not serve him by changing his clothes. She put the clothes on his arm and said angrily, "Wear it yourself."

Nathan Shaw had a faint smile on his face as he said, "You've grown quite bold recently. You even dare to throw a tantrum at your master."

Sierra Moore's heart skipped a beat. She secretly glanced at him, afraid that he would not let her move out if he was really angry.

Therefore, the guilty person lowered her head and pointed at her finger, saying weakly, "Hey, those are two different matters. Your Majesty, your words carry enormous weight. You can't go back on your word!"

Nathan Shaw looked at her with residual light and said expressionlessly, "What did I say?"

Sierra Moore felt that she had been frightened because of Nathan Shaw's shamelessness. However, Master Xiao had said that whether he could remember or not depended on his mood.

Seeing that the cooked duck was about to fly away, Sierra Moore immediately stopped throwing a fit and ran over to help put on his clothes.

What was integrity?

Could it be used as food?

After changing his clothes, Nathan Shaw didn't make things difficult for her. "If you don't want me to change my mind, you will be responsible for tonight's dinner," Nathan Shaw said, putting her hand on his palm.

"Ah?"

Sierra Moore immediately looked distressed. She covered her pocket with both hands and her facial features were almost wrinkled together.

The little maid decided to fight for it for herself and said pitifully, "There is no silver in my purse. Even if there is, I will keep it for Your Majesty to pay off my debts. Please do not have any ideas!"

Seeing that she was so calculative that she was not even willing to treat him to a meal, Nathan Shaw began to reflect on himself. "Could it be that I have been too indulgent with her recently and that she has become bolder and bolder?"

"There's no room for discussion. Either eat meals or eat you. Choose for yourself." Nathan Shaw looked at her expressionlessly after reflecting on himself.
