Sierra Moore happily visited every room. Then she returned to the living room. Nathan Shaw was sitting in the living room watching TV out of boredom. When he saw her come out, he threw the remote control aside and extended a hand toward her. "Come here."
It was a standard way to call a pet, but Sierra Moore was in a good mood now, so she did not argue with him. She hurriedly ran over and sat next to him.
Nathan Shaw held her hand and played with her soft fingers. "You visited all the rooms?"
"Nates."
Sierra Moore nodded and he asked, "Do you like this place?"
This time, she nodded even harder, "I like it."
"Then we'll stay here," Nathan Shaw said with a smile.
"Good. Good!" The overly excited person obviously did not hear what he said about "we", and she nodded continuously. Thus, Nathan Shaw was satisfied. He patted her head and said, "Get up. I'll take you to dinner."
Originally, they wanted to go to the supermarket, but she cried so sadly just now. He only wanted to comfort her and forgot about going to the supermarket. Fortunately, there were a few restaurants nearby. It took them only a few minutes to walk.
"We don't have to go out to eat."
Sierra Moore was now full of gratitude. She pressed him down on the sofa and volunteered, "I saw everything we need in the fridge just now. I'll make dinner for you to eat."
The kitchen supplies were all available. There was no shortage of oil, salt, sauce, vinegar, pots, and pans. Sierra Moore steamed the rice first and then went to look through the things in the fridge.
The refrigerator was stuffed full of meat and vegetables.
However, she didn't know much about how to cook, so she picked a few things that were easy to deal with and took them out. Soon, the washing basin was filled with big and small bags.
Before washing the vegetables, Sierra Moore began to rummage through the boxes and cabinets. Everything was prepared so well that it was impossible to miss the necessary items. After searching for a while, she found two unopened aprons.
After putting on the apron, Sierra Moore began to take action. She washed the vegetables first, and then she cut them and put them on the plate.
Finally, she prepared the onions, ginger, and garlic. When everything was ready, she turned on the gas stove, put the freshly washed pot on, and prepared to start cooking.
When she was doing this, her movements were not unfamiliar and one could not see her noble appearance as an Eldest daughter of at all.
Nathan Shaw leaned against the dining table and watched her busy figure in the kitchen. His heart suddenly swelled slowly, without a single gap left.
The first dish was stewed beef with carrots. Because beef was difficult to stew, after the meat was cooked, she covered the lid and waited next to it.
It was at this time that Nathan Shaw walked over. His footsteps were light, and he hugged her from behind. His hand passed through her armpit and crossed in front of her abdomen.
"Don't make trouble. I'm cooking!" Sierra Moore was shocked and almost lost her grip on the spatula in her hand.
Looking at this lecturing tone, he felt she really had the attitude of a housekeeper. Nathan Shaw put his head on her neck and smiled gloomily, "Don't forget to add salt this time."
"What? It was clear there was no salt at your house last time. It's not like I don't remember." Sierra Moore was unhappy that her IQ was being questioned.
"It tastes really bad," Nathan Shaw teased her.
Sierra Moore flew into a rage out of humiliation and struggled in his arms. "You ate everything even if you said it tasted bad. If you keep talking, I won't cook for you."
"Alright, I won't say that anymore." Nathan Shaw did not let her escape. He tilted his head and looked at her delicate side profile. "Wifey."
Sierra Moore was reaching out to remove the lid when she suddenly heard this word. The lid and scoop in her hand fell off, and her hand was burned by the hot steam. However, she could not feel it.
"Sisi." Nathan Shaw was frightened and quickly turned off the gas stove. He held her hand and rushed under the cold water. "Where are you hurt?"
"I'm fine," Sierra Moore shook her head.
Nathan Shaw picked her hand up and saw that the back of her hand was red. His face immediately turned gloomy. Then he pulled her away and said, "Let's go to the hospital."
"Nathan Shaw, it doesn't hurt." Sierra Moore quickly pulled him back. She didn't think it was necessary to go to the hospital with such a little scald.
Nathan Shaw's expression was still ugly. She was anxious about the food in her pot and said, "Why don't I go to the pharmacy to buy some ointment and apply it after dinner?"
Seeing that Nathan Shaw's expression had loosened up, Sierra Moore quickly pushed him away. "Go watch the TV first. Don't disturb me here."
As expected, Nathan Shaw left. However, instead of watching TV, he made a phone call. "George, Sierra Moore's hand was scalded. How should we deal with it?"
Hearing his serious tone, George Young thought that something bad had happened.
After understanding the degree of the burn, George Young said, "Don't worry, your medical kit has medicine for scald in it. You should apply some medicine to the places where she was scalded and tell her not to touch the water. It will be fine in two days."
After hanging up, Nathan Shaw called Lisa again. "Where is the first aid kit?"
Lisa was also frightened by him, thinking that something had happened to him, and hurriedly told him the location of the first aid kit, but before she could ask him what had happened, he hung up the phone.
Nathan Shaw found the ointment that George Young had mentioned in the first aid kit. Sierra Moore had just brought the dishes to the table when she saw him come over and said, "There is still a soup in the pot. If you are hungry, you can eat it first."
"Come here." With a straight face, Nathan Shaw grabbed her to wash her hands, wiped them clean with a clean towel, and pulled her hands to apply the medicine.
It was clearly a very overbearing action, but Sierra Moore had an illusion that the beast like this was very gentle.
Seeing him carefully squeeze the medicine on the scald and then gently rub the medicine with his fingers, she felt her heart fill up all of a sudden.
However, Big Boss obviously did not know how to serve people. Seeing that he had applied a thick layer of white, Sierra Moore felt her head full of black lines, thinking to herself, "It is really just a light burn. There is no need to squeeze out half of the ointment, right?"
"If I didn't know, I would have thought that it was a cast." Sierra Moore wanted to protest against him.
Nathan Shaw naturally wouldn't admit his mistake. He stared at her with wide eyes and even forced out words, "George said that this is the only way to recover quickly."
Sierra Moore thought to herself, "You actually called Dr. Young for such a small matter. Do you have any common sense?"
Sierra Moore was too lazy to talk nonsense with him, so she took a bowl and went to get soup.
"I'll do it." Nathan Shaw went over to take the bowl from her hand and poured the entire soup out from the pot.
He had just brought the soup to the table when he turned around and saw her serving rice. He came over to help her and even chased her far away. "You have wounds on your hands. Go rest on the side."
With someone serving her, Sierra Moore didn't make a move. She smiled and watched from the side, saying, "Your Majesty, how am I supposed to endure your personal service?"
Typically, she gained something good but she was still pretending to be obedient.
"Come over and eat." Nathan Shaw glanced at her.
There were two dishes and one soup, namely, green pepper with carrot and beef stew, stir-fried bitter melon, and tomato egg soup.
Sierra Moore was already hungry. She had just sat down and started eating. When she turned around and saw Nathan Shaw take out a cocktail from the refrigerator, she said to him, "Your stomach is not good. Don't drink cold while eating."
Nathan Shaw was stunned for a moment. He really put the cocktail back. Sierra Moore still looked as if it was a matter of course. This was for the sake of his health.
The problem arose again when they were eating. Nathan Shaw only picked up beef to eat among the dishes on the table and did not touch anything else.
"You can't just eat meat. You have to eat more green food. This green pepper isn't spicy. Try it." Sierra Moore looked at him for a while and deliberately put a green pepper in his bowl.
Nathan Shaw looked up at her, picked up the green pepper, and placed it in her bowl. He said expressionlessly, "I don't eat green pepper."
Sierra Moore refused to give up and picked up another bitter melon for him. "Then try this. It's very good to dispel and relieve internal heat. I boiled it with hot water. It's not bitter."
"I don't eat bitter melon," He replied, still expressionless.
Before Sierra Moore took another action, he announced, "Don't put green pepper and carrots while cooking in the future. I won't eat spring onions, coriander, and celery. Also, don't put eggs in tomato soup."
When he said this, there was really only beef left to eat.
Sierra Moore looked at him and weakly persuaded, "Your Majesty, in fact, picking food is wrong."
"It depends on who did it!" Nathan Shaw raised his eyebrows.
Sierra Moore was speechless.
The reality proved that Master Xiao's shamelessness had once again set the bottom line. He was indeed not of the same race as humans.
After dinner, Sierra Moore took the initiative to wash the dishes, but she was stopped by Nathan Shaw. The young master ate and drank to his heart's content. He sat on the sofa and said, "Your hand is injured. Don't touch the water."
When Sierra Moore saw the thick layer on the back of her hand, she gave up and immediately looked at Nathan Shaw excitedly. "Your Majesty, are you going to do it yourself?"
Nathan Shaw thought to himself, "Keep dreaming!"
"Keep it and wash it when your hand is better." Nathan Shaw looked at her expressionlessly.
"..."
Sure enough, she couldn't have too much hope for him. He didn't even have the slightest awareness of dividing the work and working together.
After dinner, the two of them huddled in the living room to watch TV. After a soap opera, it was almost nine o'clock. The drowsy bugs arrived on time, but Nathan Shaw still didn't leave.
Sierra Moore hesitated for a moment and felt that it was necessary to remind him.
She snapped a piece of tangerine and fed it to him, reminding him with a not-so-smart tone, "Well, the sky outside is dark and the road is far away. Shouldn't you be returning home?"
Nathan Shaw ate her tangerine at ease and then glanced at her lazily. "Who said I wanted to leave?"
Nathan Shaw had waited the entire night for this moment.
Looking at her surprised expression, Master Xiao was already happy in his heart, but he still pretended as if nothing had happened, "If you are sleepy, go to sleep."
"But you promised me!" Sierra Moore asked after a long reflex arc.
His fingers lifted a strand of her hair and he said, "Let me ask you, what did you say when you wanted to move out?" Nathan Shaw loved to bully someone as stupid as her.
Sierra Moore thought for a moment and said, "I said I want to move out."
"What are the conditions?"
"Close to the company."
"Only this one request?" Nathan Shaw nodded.
Sierra Moore was just about to nod when she saw the confidence in his eyes. She was immediately dumbfounded. She only said that she wanted to move out, but she did not say that she would not live with him.
No wonder he agreed so readily. He turned out to be premeditated.
"You did it on purpose."
Nathan Shaw raised his eyebrows, thinking to himself, "Wasn't this intentional?"
Sierra Moore stared at him for a long time. She didn't expect that she would be happy for nothing. After thinking about it, she couldn't find any flaws. In the end, she snorted and ran away.
As he watched her run into the master bedroom, Nathan Shaw's black eyes flashed.
