Chapter 72 You Are Not Allowed to Like Others

When Avery Yates spoke, she acted like a hostess and deliberately did not look at Sierra Moore. It was obvious that she was ignoring Sierra Moore.

For a moment, the atmosphere in the living room was a little stiff.

Obviously relying on her relationship with Nathan Shaw, Avery Yates said to Steven Jones in a friendly manner, "Steven, where's Nate? I prepared a Christmas gift for you!"

The person who was addressed was simply heartless. He looked up at the stairs and said, "Nate just went upstairs to pick up a call."

Avery Yates had no time to remove her makeup, but she had time to prepare gifts.

Although Sierra Moore was a little slow, she understood that Avery Yates had come with ill intentions.

Sierra Moore looked at Elsa Foster and then at Avery Yates whose face was peaceful. She forced a smile on her face and opened her mouth, but she did not know what to say.

When Elsa Foster saw Sierra Moore behave like this, her face was very bad. She raised her delicate chin and said, "What? You don't seem to welcome us?"

Sierra Moore thought to herself, "This is an injustice. I just didn't know that you would come. I was just surprised!"

However, since Elsa Foster was Mr. Shaw's sister, Sierra Moore could not offend her, so she waved her hand and explained, "No, no. I didn't know that Nathan Shaw also invited you."

Sierra Moore always said what she wanted to say, and her words had no other meaning, but in Elsa Foster's ears, it was a different situation.

"Do you mean that we can't come without an invitation?"

"What? Do I need your permission to come to my brother's house? Who do you think you are?" This Eldest daughter of had a tough temper and asked with a sullen face.

This time, Sophie Lucas was annoyed. She widened her eyes and smiled extremely flirtatiously.

"It's really funny. You actually don't know who she is when you visit her home? If you don't know her, you can ask your brother who she is now."

Sophie Lucas was never one to mince her words, not to mention that this person dared to bully Sierra Moore in front of her.

Sophie Lucas's words made Elsa Foster speechless. Her face was green with anger. She looked at Sophie Lucas with a twisted face. She wanted to tear Sophie Lucas apart.

It was still Avery Yates who was good at socializing. She pulled Elsa Foster aside and told her not to lower herself to the same level as that person.

"Elsa didn't mean anything else. Please don't take it to heart, Miss Lucas." Avery Yates said to Sophie Lucas with a graceful smile.

Her behavior was the most likable, but unfortunately, this time, she had met Sophie Lucas.

This Eldest daughter of grinned and said, "That's strange. Does she need your help whether she has any other intentions? Who are you to her?"

"You..."

Elsa Foster glared angrily and was about to go up to argue with Sophie Lucas when she heard a voice from behind her. "Why are you all standing at the door? Are you waiting for me?"

The one who had just spoken was naturally Dr. Young, who was still working conscientiously on Christmas Eve.

When Elsa Foster heard this voice, the ferocious expression on her face suddenly turned into a pool of spring water. Before she turned around, she opened her mouth and called out, "Brother George."

However, she did not expect that there was someone here who was faster than her.

As Sophie Lucas had been waiting for an opportunity to make a move, the moment she saw George Young appear, she rushed toward him without hesitation and once again pounced on him.

"Hey, Georgie, I haven't seen you for a few days and you look more handsome!" Eldest daughter of greeted with a smile.

George Young didn't expect that Eldest daughter of would be here as well, and even more so, he didn't expect that she would pounce on him like last time, regardless of the consequences.

Fortunately, she controlled her strength this time and did not manage to knock him down.

Looking at the pairs of frightened eyes behind her, George Young felt a headache. He held his forehead and sighed, "Miss Lucas, we meet again."

"Nates." Sophie Lucas nodded repeatedly, refusing to get up from George Young.

In fact, today's situation was better than that of last time. This time, Eldest daughter of was very restrained.

Avery Yates, Steven Jones, and the others had seen her previous behavior before, so it was not surprising to them.

However, Sophie Lucasng was a little surprised. It was the first time that he had seen his sister interact with the opposite sex like this. He was interested in this Dr. Young whom he had met for the first time.

Lisa and Elsa Foster were both shocked by Sophie Lucas's actions.

Lisa looked at Sophie Lucasng, and then she looked at the person beside her who was smiling very reluctantly, thinking to herself, "This friend of Miss Moore is too interesting."

Elsa Foster didn't think so. She had been against Sophie Lucas from the beginning. Now that Sophie Lucas was holding George Young, Elsa Foster's face turned black immediately.

"Sophie Lucas, do you still have any shame? Let go of Brother George."

With a beautiful man in her arms, Sophie Lucas naturally would not let go of him. She coldly glared at Elsa Foster, "It's none of your business that I'm hugging my Georgie. If you had any shame, you wouldn't have come here."

"This is my Brother Nate's home. If you can come, why can't I come?" Elsa Foster still managed to maintain her last bit of rationality and did not rush up to tear Sophie Lucas apart.

At this time, George Young, who had been ignored for a long time, spoke, "Miss Lucas, can you let go of me first when you are chatting?"

"I can let you go if you want me to. Give me your phone," Sophie Lucas said with a sly smile.

George Young took out his phone and asked, "What are you doing with my phone?"

Eldest daughter of smiled very sincerely. "We get to know each other again and again. We are all acquaintances now. Let's add each other as friends on iMessage first so that we can communicate later!"

The logic of women was always so weird.

It was said that three women were enough to form a play, but today there were five women here. George Young handed the phone to Sophie Lucas and quickly left the place of trouble.

Seeing him walk over, the people on the sofa who were watching the show all looked at him sympathetically.

Ryan Holland said, "George, it seems that you have luck with Eldest daughter ofes!"

However, no matter how one looked at it, Ryan Holland's smile was gloating. Indeed, the Eldest daughter of of the Foster Family was unruly and willful, while the Eldest daughter of of the Lucas Family acted strangely and never acted according to common sense.

These two were both rare and top-notch, yet George Young had met them both.

"Sorry, I'm late." George Young sat down and greeted everyone.

Seeing the helpless look on Sophie Lucasng's face, Steven Jones said with interest, "Mr. Lucas, your sister is very interested in my brother!"

Sophie Lucasng said with a headache, "She's been spoiled. I hope Young Master Qiao wont overthink it!"

"Miss Lucas is very cute." George Young shook his head gently.

He was not attempting to be courteous, because he could tell that Sophie Lucas was a girl with a real temperament, and he would not be tired to be with such a person.

If not for the fact that he had veered off the track a long time ago, he might really have fallen in love with such a girl. the Lucas Family's daughter could be considered to be of equal social status as his.

"Since George is here, let's begin! I'll go up and call Nate."

Just as Ryan Holland stood up, he heard Sierra Moore say, "You guys eat something first. I'll call him over." After that, she went upstairs with her cane.

In fact, Sierra Moore's current mood was very complicated. Originally, she just wanted to invite familiar friends to come to her home, have some fun, and celebrate the festival together, but she did not expect so many people to come at once.

She had an odd feeling that this Christmas Eve would be unforgettable for the rest of her life.

"Can I come in?" Sierra Moore knocked on the study door.

"Come in." Hearing the voice inside, Sierra Moore pushed the door open and went in. However, after seeing the person behind the desk, she felt a little wronged.

Nathan Shaw was still talking on the phone. Seeing Sierra Moore standing at the door with a tired face, he hung up the phone with a few words and stretched out a hand to her. "Come here."

This time, it was rare for Sierra Moore not to argue with him. She walked over to him meekly and called out to him in a muffled voice, "Nathan Shaw."

"What's wrong? Are you tired?" Nathan Shaw still did not know what was going on down there.

Sierra Moore nodded and walked toward him. She was pulled to sit on his lap but she did not resist. She said in his ears tiredly, "If I had known, I wouldn't have held this Christmas party."

Only then did Nathan Shaw realize that something was wrong with her. He poked her face with his finger and asked, "You were very happy just now. Why are you so listless now?"

Sierra Moore did not want to answer, so she buried her head in his chest, looking exceptionally docile. "Nates, I'm just listless."

Feeling the broad palm gently stroking her head, she felt her heart slowly calm down. After a while, she said gloomily, "Your sister is here, together with Avery Yates."

The smart Nathan Shaw immediately understood the reason why she was unhappy.

He stroked her as if he was touching a puppy and explained to her, "In the past, we would go to Paradise Clubhouse to have a banquet. When Avery Yates doesn't need to work, she would come over."

Sierra Moore nodded. She knew that their brotherhood was strong and that he did not have any romantic intentions toward Avery Yates. However, she just did not like the way that person looked at her as if Avery Yates wanted to see through her.

Sierra Moore felt that Nathan Shaw must have done something, so Avery Yates had fantasies about him. She remembered that last time, Avery Yates said on TV that if Nathan Shaw wouldn't leave Avery Yates, she promised to not leave him until death separated them apart.

Sierra Moore felt so sour!

"Nathan Shaw." The jealous little girl was very conflicted. She poked Nathan Shaw's chest with her finger and said, "Hey, tell me honestly. With such a Beauty by your side, have you never been moved?"

Sierra Moore thought to herself, "Did you not do anything to make her misunderstand?"

Sierra Moore looked very cute when she was jealous, just like a little pet that had lost its favor, silly and cute.

"Heh."

Nathan Shaw couldn't help but chuckle. He finally understood that the two of them could be so happy together. He was taking pleasure in it, but it was a pity that Sierra Moore had a worried expression.

He held her hand and asked instead of answering, "Then, do you want to hear the truth or a lie?"

"Of course..." Sierra Moore wanted to say the truth, but she stopped halfway, afraid that the truth was something she did not want to hear.

Her exceptionally good-looking big eyes swiveled back and she suddenly grabbed Nathan Shaw by the collar, saying, "You are not allowed to like her, and you are not allowed to like other women."

It was these unreasonable words that made Nathan Shaw suddenly burst into laughter. It had been a long time since he had laughed so freely because of his girl.

Because she cared about whether he liked others or not, he was very happy. It was just that simple.

"Since you like to laugh so much, you might as well laugh to death!" Unable to endure being laughed at by him like this, Sierra Moore flew into a rage out of humiliation and pretended to be angry as she left.

Nathan Shaw didn't dare to go too far. Knowing well when to stop, he kept her in his arms with one hand and lifted her chin with the other. He smiled and said, "Alright, I won't like others."

He thought to himself, "I won't like others. I only like you!"
