Chapter 76 To Make Her See Clearly

Avery Yates thought to herself, "Don't think that you will win just because he is standing next to you. It is not certain who will be able to laugh until the end."

"You want to fight me? Youre too inexperienced."

When she raised her head, she accidentally met Nathan Shaw's gaze. Avery Yates was shocked. She always felt that the way he looked at her was different from before. She thought to herself, "Did he see something?"

"No, it shouldn't be." After all, she was a professional actress who had won a movie queen award. She was confident that no one would notice anything.

However, to deal with Sierra Moore, she still needed Elsa Foster's help, so she could not let Nathan Shaw send Elsa Foster away.

Avery Yates thought for a moment and said to the person beside her, "Elsa, quickly apologize to your brother."

Elsa Foster did not understand what Avery Yates meant. She shouted at Avery Yates with a grievance, "I was not wrong. Why should I apologize? It was obviously that woman's fault!"

Sierra Moore was a little speechless. She had not spoken a few words to Elsa Foster from the beginning to the end. She wondered how she made this Eldest daughter of so unhappy.

Avery Yates whispered into Elsa Foster's ears, "Right now, your brother only has Sierra Moore in his eyes. He won't listen to you. If you don't apologize now, he will really send you away tomorrow."

By the looks of the expression on Avery Yates's face, it seemed like she was trying to persuade the willful girl. In fact, she also had her own plans in her heart, "Sierra Moore must have ulterior motives for approaching your brother. If you just leave like this, no one will stop her."

Elsa Foster heard Avery Yates's words and slowly came back to her senses. Her gaze slowly became firm. "Sister Avery, don't worry. I will definitely not let her become my sister-in-law."

This was what Avery Yates wanted. As she heard Elsa Foster apologize to Nathan Shaw, a smile appeared in her slightly lowered eyes. She had waited for him for so many years. How could she let someone else snatch him away?

"Brother Nate, I was wrong. I shouldn't have lost my temper with you. Please forgive me, okay?" Listening to Avery Yates's words, Elsa Foster suppressed her anger and apologized to Nathan Shaw.

After saying that, she looked at Nathan Shaw as if she really regretted it sincerely and waited for him to forgive her.

Nathan Shaw said neither yes nor no, which made the scene awkward again. Looking at Elsa Foster's aggrieved tears, Sierra Moore sighed.

Sierra Moore really didn't understand why Elsa Foster was so hostile to her. But in the end, Elsa Foster was also Nathan Shaw's younger sister, so Sierra Moore couldn't make her feel embarrassed.

Sierra Moore coughed dryly and whispered to Nathan Shaw, "Hurry up and say that you have forgiven her."

Nathan Shaw thought to himself, "No woman could bear such grievances. Did she forgive Elsa Foster so easily because she didn't care at all?"

Nathan Shaw looked down at her with a complicated gaze.

Sierra Moore was anxious when she saw that Nathan Shaw didn't speak, so she helped him finish his sentence, "Miss Ling, your brother said he won't blame you."

She was trying to help Elsa Foster relieve the situation with good intentions, but the other party might not appreciate it.

"Brother Nate, I knew you wouldn't blame me!" Elsa Foster looked at Sierra Moore coldly as if she was laughing at her for having done so much. When looking at Nathan Shaw, she regained a face full of smiles.

Being ignored like this, Sierra Moore also felt a little awkward. She turned around and fetched a bunch of roasted meat to hand to Elsa Foster. She once again took the initiative to show her goodwill, "This is very delicious. Do you want to try it?"

"Go away. Nobody would want to eat your food." Elsa Foster did not have a good expression on her face as she coldly pushed Sierra Moore's hand away.

With a push of her hand, the roasted meat fell to the ground. Sierra Moore looked at her in shock. This time, Sierra Moore could no longer smile. Her eyes slowly became watery.

This time, Nathan Shaw did not speak up for her. He wanted her to see clearly what blind tolerance would bring in the end.

Even Nathan Shaw did not help her. Sierra Moore lowered her head in a grievance. At this moment, she suddenly wanted to leave this place.

Seeing this scene, Avery Yates was really happy. A sneer flashed across her eyes. She wanted to see how long this hypocritical woman could pretend.

"As expected, everyone is here!"

Seeing that everyone was not going back, Steven Jones thought that the food in the barbecue was probably more delicious than that prepared in the living room, so he dragged George Young out to join in the fun.

He had yet to notice that the atmosphere here was not right and said to the person who was trying to pretend that he did not exist, "John, do you have any squid? Give me two!"

John Smith thought to himself, "With so many people here, he only called me. Would his hit rate be so high?"

John Smith turned his back to Steven Jones and rolled his eyes. He regretted it thousands of times in his heart. If he had known earlier, he would not have agreed to attend the Boss's Christmas party.

He thought to himself, "It was one thing to come to the party, but why did I not stay in the living room to enjoy the central heating but come out to roast things instead?"

"It was one thing to roast things, but why did these delicate Eldest daughter of come out to join in the fun?"

"It was said that three women were enough to form a play, not to mention that one of them is Boss's cohabited girlfriend, one is his rumored girlfriend, and the other is his cousin."

When these three women gathered together, the situation was undoubtedly like a comet crashing into the earth.

In fact, John Smith wanted to leave, but looking at the driver brother who was focused on barbecuing beside him, he was too embarrassed to make himself look too "fragile", and even Lisa did not leave. If he left alone, wouldn't that show that he felt guilty?

John Smith tried his best to pretend that he didn't exist, but Mr. Jones called him out when coming out. He thought that this time, Boss would definitely remember him. When the time came, if Boss was unhappy, then it would be time for Boss to make a fool of him.

There was grilled food on the table. They were all covered with a lid to keep the temperature warm. Steven Jones held a plate and began to choose what he liked to eat. As he ate, he did not forget to ask George Young what he wanted to eat.

After he carried a plate of cooked food to eat, he finally found that everyone's expressions were a little strange.

He looked at the expressionless Nathan Shaw and asked, "Oh, what's wrong? Georgie, look at Boss's stinky face. Does it look like he has constipation?"

Steven Jones came at the right time. His chattering broke the heavy atmosphere, but his words made Nathan Shaw's face even worse.

Calling him Steven was really flattering to him.

On the other side, Sierra Moore seemed to have just woken up. She felt extremely wronged. Her red eyes looked at the person beside her. Seeing that he did not express anything, she felt a little disappointed.

She didn't want to stay here any longer, so she limped over to pick up her walking stick and casually found an excuse, "My head hurts a little. I'll go in first. Take your time chatting."

Her voice was low, but everyone heard it.

As Elsa Foster watched Sierra Moore leave slowly with the help of a crutch, Sierra Moore's embarrassed look made Elsa Foster feel relieved. The corners of Elsa Foster's mouth curled up into a victorious smile, "Hmph, at least she is self-aware."

Steven Jones did not know what had happened. He walked over and knocked Nathan Shaw on the shoulder. "I just arrived. Why did the little white rabbit leave?"

Nathan Shaw ignored him and his gaze continued to follow Sierra Moore.

Although he had long guessed that this would be the result, seeing her leave in such an aggrieved manner, Nathan Shaw felt a little reluctant in his heart. He just wanted her to see clearly what her kindness and weakness would exchange for.

After Sierra Moore left, the happiest person here was Elsa Foster. Without someone she hated, her mood suddenly improved. She pulled Avery Yates to eat.

John Smith and Ken were still roasting food. Lisa sat by the side and quietly watched the situation change. George Young looked at Sierra Moore with a thoughtful expression on his face. Only Steven Jones was still looking very confused.

At this moment, Sierra Moore's departure seemed to have nothing to do with anyone else.

"The annoying fellow finally left. Sister Avery, let's have a drink." Elsa Foster opened a beer bottle and handed it to Avery Yates.

"I feel a little dizzy. I can't drink anymore." Avery Yates shook her head. She had drunk too much just now, and now she was a little drunk. Sitting there, she felt that the world in front of her was changing.

"You're drunk!" Seeing her tipsy state, Elsa Foster blinked at her and said, "Why don't we stay here tonight?"

This was naturally the best. A hint of joy flashed through Avery Yates's eyes. Then, she pretended to be a little uncomfortable. Leaning against Elsa Foster, she said half-drunk and half-awake, "That's not good! Can your brother agree?"

Elsa Fosters eyes widened and she said confidently, "Why won't he agree? If that woman can live there, why can't we?"

Her words were confident, but Avery Yates did not believe them. She looked at Elsa Foster with wide eyes and comforted her with a smile, "Forget it!"

Elsa Foster was unhappy. She puffed up her cheeks and said, "What do you mean? I said we can live there, then we surely can. I am his biological sister!"

However, Avery Yates only looked at her and smiled, but she did not speak. Such obvious distrust made Elsa Foster very unhappy. To prove that she could do it, Elsa Foster ran to Nathan Shaw.

"Brother Nate, Sister Avery is drunk. We won't go back tonight. Get the servants to prepare two guest rooms for us."

Elsa Foster held Nathan Shaw's arm and acted like a spoiled child. Behind her, there was a faint smile on Avery Yates's slightly tipsy face.

Since Sierra Moore left, Nathan Shaw's eyes had never left her. Looking at her clumsy appearance when she went up the stairs, he felt that his legs could not help but walk toward her.

Behind him, Elsa Foster shouted angrily, "Brother Nate, did you hear what I said?"

Nathan Shaw seemed to have just remembered Elsa Foster's existence. He paused in his steps and turned back to look at her. "It's getting late. You'll go back when you're full."

Elsa Foster thought to herself, "This meant he didn't allow us to stay?"

Elsa Foster couldn't keep her face up and said unhappily, "You have so many rooms here, and that woman can live here. Why can't Sister Avery and I live here?"

"Say it again!" Nathan Shaw glanced at her coldly. Then, he slowly shifted his gaze to the side. Coincidentally, Avery Yates was also looking at him. Her gaze was soft and she seemed to be slightly aggrieved.

If it were anyone else, they would not definitely refuse such a gentle gaze. Unfortunately, Nathan Shaw was not a person who would show tender affection. He would not change his decision because of this.

"Call her entertainment agent when you leave later."

When Avery Yates heard him say this, her heart turned cold and her eyes trembled slightly with tears. Unfortunately, after Nathan Shaw finished speaking, he turned around and walked toward Sierra Moore.

He was actually so ruthless!

"What about me? I'm your sister. I can live here, right?" Elsa Foster stomped her feet in anger.

Nathan Shaw did not look back but left an order, "John Smith, send Miss Ling to the hotel after the party is over."
