Chapter 84 Cast a Long Line to Catch a Big Fish

Sierra Moore looked at Nathan Shaw and blinked her dark and bright eyes. She quickly hugged him and said, "Nathan Shaw, you are so good."

"Well, it's good that you know."

Nathan Shaw curled his lips and accepted her praise with a clear conscience. However, when he saw the pot of rice cakes, he frowned in disgust.

Nathan Shaw had never seen rice cake before. In his view of the world, this kind of astonishing-looking thing was no different from dark cuisine. Therefore, Mr. Shaw suspected from the bottom of his heart whether this kind of thing could really be eaten.

"Boss, pack a portion for me," Sierra Moore said as she ran over to buy rice cakes.

Did not know why she wanted to pack it up, Nathan Shaw looked at the simple shop. The tables and chairs in the shop seemed to be covered with a layer of oil, well, he really did not want to go in.

After Sierra Moore packed up the rice cakes, Nathan Shaw took the initiative to take them. Sierra Moore smiled happily at him and took the initiative to hold his hand. "Nathan Shaw, let's go eat teppanyaki!"

Nathan Shaw stopped in his tracks and turned to look at her. His eyes were as cold as ever.

Seeing him like this, Sierra Moore also didn't leave. She didn't dare to resist. She just lowered her head, and her body was emitting a depressing aura. She thought Mr. Shaw was really too inconsiderate.

This time, Nathan Shaw did not intend to indulge her anymore, because he knew very well that the more she gets, the more she wants.

It was even hard for him to understand why someone would leave a big meal aside and insist on coming here to eat the strange-looking trash food.

That's right. In Mr. Shaw's opinion, this street was filled with trash food.

The two stood motionless in the middle of the road, which was also very eye-catching.

In other people's eyes, this was really a strange couple. The man was expressionless, and the woman looked pitiful like a pitiful bug being bullied.

Sierra Moore raised her head and secretly looked at Nathan Shaw. She held his hand and gently shook it. Her two wet eyes blinked as if they could speak.

She thought to herself, "Nathan Shaw, please!"

Nathan Shaw probably never thought that he would have such a helpless day. He simply had no way to deal with this woman.

He found himself a paper tiger in front of her, but he could not bear to be ruthless to her, so he gritted his teeth and said, "Don't go too far."

"En, not too far, not too far. It's enough to buy another set of noodles with bone soup."

What an insatiable woman! Nathan Shaw's face changed again and again, but Sierra Moore had already let go of him and limped toward the teppanyaki stall.

Sierra Moore picked skewers and handed them over to the boss. "Boss, don't put chili peppers in my food. My boyfriend doesn't eat spicy food."

These words seemed to have crossed thousands of mountains and rivers, breaking through all the obstacles, all the way straight into his heart.

Nathan Shaw looked at his girl in surprise. He had a look of being deeply moved on his face.

After packing up their things, the two went to the park next to the university.

Sitting on the long chair in the park, Sierra Moore spread out the things she bought one by one and impatiently took a bite of the rice cakes.

The delicious spicy taste conquered her in an instant. The taste was even more delicious than she thought. "It's really too delicious," Sierra Moore mumbled in praise as she ate.

After eating half a box of rice cakes in one go, Sierra Moore finally remembered someone. She looked at him and asked, "Nathan Shaw, why aren't you eating?"

Nathan Shaw didn't want to talk to her at all. Seeing that her mouth was full of food, he couldn't help but frown. He took out a handkerchief from his bag and wiped the corner of her mouth clean.

After this period, Sierra Moore had slowly gotten used to Nathan Shaw's unconventional actions, so she enjoyed Mr. Shaw's service with a clear conscience.

However, she couldn't understand Mr. Shaw's dislike. She even enthusiastically brought the noodles to him. "The business of that shop cooking noodles with bone soup is so good. The food must be delicious. Hurry up and try it."

"I'm not eating." Nathan Shaw looked at her with resistance, thinking to himself, "What a joke, how could I, Master Xiao, eat this kind of thing?"

"Nathan Shaw, are you afraid that the things here are poisonous?" Sierra Moore's slow-witted little head finally reacted.

Nathan Shaw thought to himself, "Who knew whether the food would kill someone?"

Nathan Shaw looked at her lazily, clearly unwilling to eat.

Sierra Moore saw that he did not move, so she picked up a pair of chopsticks and brought a mouthful of noodles to his mouth, coaxing him to take a bite, "Try it. It's really delicious."

Seeing that she was so attentive, Nathan Shaw reluctantly opened his mouth to eat. He frowned and chewed twice before directly swallowing it into his stomach. Just as he finished eating, another mouthful of noodles came to his mouth again.

Sierra Moore looked at him with a radiant smile and said, "How is it? It tastes very good!"

Nathan Shaw thought to himself, "How could it taste good?"

Nathan Shaw covered his stomach. He now felt quite faint from head to toe.

After another bite, Nathan Shaw took the initiative to take the noodles and kindly reminded her, "Your rice cake and roasted meat are turning cold."

"Ah! My rice cake." Sierra Moore immediately shifted her attention and focused on eating her food.

The mobile phone in his mouth kept vibrating. Nathan Shaw put the noodles aside and took out his mobile phone to answer the call.

Originally, it was just a small matter, but he acted abnormally and said a few words from time to time, causing the people over the line to be confused, but the other party did not dare to hang up on him.

Seeing that Nathan Shaw wasn't done talking and didn't eat much, Sierra Moore picked up a mushroom to feed him.

Nathan Shaw glanced at her and opened his mouth to eat.

Then Sierra Moore fed him a few pieces of barbecue and eggplant, and he also ate them obediently.

Seeing that his attention was on the phone, Sierra Moore began to play smart and deliberately picked up a stick of coriander to feed him.

Nathan Shaw had a sharp nose and refused to open his mouth when he smelled it. He turned around and looked at her coldly.

Sierra Moore was flustered by his gaze and hurriedly stuffed the coriander into her mouth to eat. As she chewed, she muttered, "If you don't want to eat it, then don't eat it! Why are you so fierce!"

Little did she know that these words had already drifted into his ears.

After Nathan Shaw made a phone call, Sierra Moore had almost finished eating. She leaned comfortably on the chair and rubbed her round belly, looking satisfied.

Her cat-like expression made Nathan Shaw's heart move. "Are you full?" He slowly leaned over, and the sunlight just happened to fall behind him.

Sierra Moore nodded and heard him say, "I'll send you back."

After getting in the car, Sierra Moore suddenly remembered something and said to him, "Nathan Shaw, my legs are fine now. Can I go to work tomorrow?"

After staying at home for so long, she felt like she was about to grow moldy.

"Do you think you are suitable to go to the company like this?" Nathan Shaw asked, staring at her coldly.

"Why can't I do it?" After Sierra Moore finished speaking, she glanced at her injured leg with a guilty conscience and continued to find excuses.

"Isn't the new brand going to be on the shelf after the New Natear? I am also one of the brand designers. Now the time is so urgent, how can I stay at home every day?"

"The design drafts can also be drawn at home." Nathan Shaw glanced at her.

He was determined not to let her go back to the company.

Sierra Moore was very dissatisfied. She puffed up her cheeks and said, "I have been on leave ever since I went to work. Others will gossip about me. Besides, what if you don't pay me when the time comes?"

If one day Master Xiao was unhappy and threw her out of the house, wouldn't she end up on the streets?

It must be known that when she was in France, she had never been so miserable. This feeling of being penniless really made her feel insecure.

Nathan Shaw took a deep look at her. Just when Sierra Moore thought that he would relent, he sighed, "Don't you know how to cast a long line to catch a big fish?"

Sierra Moore looked at him and blinked again and again. Then, she asked blankly, "What did you say?"

"Forget it if you don't understand." Nathan Shaw did not want to explain. He pinched the space between his eyebrows with a headache. He felt that he would be angered to death by this woman sooner or later.

Sierra Moore didn't know how she had offended the Boss. Unexpectedly, he suddenly took out a card and handed it over. "Take this."

"What is this?" Sierra Moore held it in her hand and looked at it, then she looked at him in confusion, "Is it my wage card?"

"My secondary card," said Nathan Shaw as he glanced at her coldly.

Sierra Moore was stunned for a moment and did not notice when he leaned over. His body was very low and his slender fingers pulled the safety buckle to help her fasten her seat belt.

From her point of view, Nathan Shaw's side profile was perfect. He had a high nose bridge and thin lips. When he did not smile, the lines of his face were cold, making people not dare to approach him.

"If you want to buy anything in the future, use this card. The password is our wedding anniversary."

For some reason, when she heard him mention the wedding anniversary, Sierra Moore felt her heart skip a beat, so much so that she did not hear the rest of his words.

Hearing no response, Nathan Shaw raised his head. His dark eyes were like two bottomless abysses that sucked her in.

"Don't tell me you don't know the password."

Nathan Shaw looked at her deeply and threatened her with an expressionless face, "If you dare to say you don't know, you can sleep in the storage room tonight."

This was the rhythm of locking her up in the small black room!

Sierra Moore quickly pulled her sense back and shook her head. "But how can I spend your money? I'm not yours!" At the end of her sentence, she was obviously lacking confidence.

She thought to herself, "Did he think that I had said so just now to ask him for this card?"

"In his eyes, am I such a superficial woman?"

"Between us, is there nothing else but money and transactions?"

Thinking of this, Sierra Moore felt her mood suddenly become very bad. She handed the card back to him, "You should keep your card for other women! I don't need it."

These words were obviously filled with anger. It was obvious that she still cared about the matter of seeing Avery Yates just now.

Her stubborn head was pinched by cold fingers and forced to turn around. Sierra Moore was forced to look straight into his deep eyes. She heard him say, "I remember someone just said that I was her boyfriend."

Sierra Moore never thought that he would say such words at a time like this. She was so embarrassed that she did not dare to look into his eyes and stammered, "Well, we truly are. We're friends now!"
