Chapter 94 The School Party

Sierra Moore thought Nathan Shaw was in a bad mood at the moment and that he was most likely to have fun with his female friends.

Sierra Moore took a few bites and felt a little tasteless. The more she thought about it, the more uncomfortable she felt. Finally, she angrily threw the chopsticks away. "I don't want to eat anymore."

After she finished speaking, she ignored Wendy's dissuasion and went upstairs with her walking stick.

She also did not understand what was wrong with her.

However, when she thought of Nathan Shaw going to look for another woman, her heart felt like it was blocked by a ball of cotton. She could not breathe, and she felt extremely uncomfortable.

As for why she felt this way?

The answer was unknown.

Moreover, Sierra Moore had never thought about this problem. What exactly was Nathan Shaw to her?

A lover?

Boss?

Or her ex-husband?

This was the first time Sierra Moore faced this problem head-on.

In the past, in her eyes, Nathan Shaw was only her creditor, an existence she could not avoid.

She thought that he had approached her just for the ten million that had shamed her, and she was afraid that she would like him, so she fled.

But now, what was their relationship?

Every night, he hugged her to sleep, and from time to time, he would bully her, making her more and more accustomed to his existence, and also more and more inseparable from him.

He was the one who said that he wanted to start over again. He was the one who said that he wanted to spoil her to the point of being free as a bird. He was also the one who said that he would wait for her to open her heart. She wondered whether he was tired of it so soon.

Sierra Moore did not realize that her mind was filled with thoughts of Nathan Shaw, and she had completely forgotten that Jack Lee was about to get engaged.

It turned out that unknowingly, the roots of love were already deep.

After Nathan Shaw left, Sierra Moore had been lying on the bed, staring at the mobile phone and maintaining this position for a long time.

She wanted to make a phone call to explain to Nathan Shaw, but she was afraid that he was still angry. The dial button in her hand could not be pressed no matter what, making others anxious to watch from the side.

Her bored fingers kept poking at the screen. The screen of the phone would never darken, but she just stared at it as if she could see through it.

When a phone call came in, she was looking forward to it. Unfortunately, it was not the person she was thinking about.

The call was from Clarison Moore, who invited her to his school to attend the New Natear's day party.

Sierra Moore was originally a little hesitant. Because of the matter between Nathan Shaw and Jack Lee, she was in a very bad mood today. It was really not suitable for her to go out.

However, on the other side of the line, she had been sweetly calling "sister". By hearing this address, she felt her heart turn so soft that it was in a complete mess, and she agreed in a muddled manner.

The New Natear's day party started at nine o'clock and ended at twelve o'clock.

It was already eight o'clock. Sierra Moore temporarily put aside the troublesome matter, rubbed her face, got up and changed her clothes, and went downstairs.

"Wendy, I'm going out for a while. I'm not having lunch at home at noon."

"Hey, I'll call Ken," Wendy responded and went to look for Ken.

Since the last time the two of them entered the hospital together, Ken was ordered to stay in the the villa. In the morning, Nathan Shaw drove away by himself. Sierra Moore thought about it and let Wendy go.

On the way, when the car passed a dessert shop, Sierra Moore asked Ken to stop the car. She entered the shop by herself and picked a chocolate-flavored cake and a few boxes of snacks.

When children grew up, it would be easier for them to be hungry.

When they arrived at the gate of Clarison Moore Quinn's school, Sierra Moore suddenly felt that this place was somewhat familiar. Her reaction had always been half a beat slower, and she wondered if she had come here in her dreams.

She was young, but she had a bad memory. She couldn't remember it for a while. Finally, Ken reminded her that they had just been here a few days ago.

Only then did Sierra Moore realize that Clarison Moore Quinn and Sophie Lucas were actually in the same school. What kind of fate was this!

This time, the New Natear's day party had obviously invited many people. Most of them were the parents of the students. There was a lot of traffic at the school gate, and there was an endless stream of people coming and going.

They came too late, and now that the parking space in the school was full. Ken parked the car on the side of the road and followed Sierra Moore into the school with a cake box.

Originally, he did not need to follow her in, but after all, Sierra Moore was injured now.

In her current situation, it was already good enough for her to take care of herself. She could not take these things at all, so Ken had to act as a temporary follower.

The party was held in the great hall of the school. For this reason, a guide tablet was specially erected at the entrance of the school. There were several guides with red scarves leading the way for everyone.

This was the first time Sierra Moore had come to this school, and she did not know the way. She was fortunate enough to enjoy this treatment and was led all the way to the entrance of the auditorium by a cute female classmate.

It was almost time for the party to begin, and the audience had already entered to sit.

Sierra Moore stood outside the auditorium and took out her mobile phone to call Clarison Moore Quinn. Unexpectedly, the person who answered the phone was not himself.

Not long after the call, a chubby young boy ran over with his mobile phone in hand. His eyes narrowed into slits as he looked up at Sierra Moore.

"You are Clarison Moore Quinn's elder sister, right? He's in the back stage preparing for the performance and he asked me to come to pick you up."

As the little fatty spoke, he stole a glance behind her and looked at Ken with a face of worship. "Sister, is this your bodyguard? How cool!"

Sierra Moore thought to herself, "Bodyguard?"

Sierra Moore turned to look at Ken who was expressionless, then she turned back and laughed dryly, "You're Clarison's classmate, right? Wait for me first."

She took the things from Ken and said to him, "This party seems to be ending at 12 o'clock. If you have something to do, I can take a taxi back by myself after it is over."

Ken nodded and handed her the thing in his hand.

"Sister, I'll help you get it." The fatty was very tactful. Seeing that Sierra Moore was not too convenient to move, he took the initiative to help her take things.

In the auditorium, the New Natear's day party had officially begun. Two small hosts held hands and walked to the front of the stage to announce the beginning of the performance.

The boy was dressed in a handsome suit, speaking standard Mandarin as he greeted everyone. The girl was wearing a pink bubble skirt and spoke fluent English.

Such a unique match of dual-lingual hosts made the teachers and students below the stage applaud and cheer for them.

Sierra Moore stopped and looked at the stage. She was deeply moved, thinking to herself, "The children nowadays are really amazing. Their stage aura was so stable at such a young age. As an adult, I blush with shame!"

"Sister, let's go!" The little fatty was not interested in the people on stage. What he was interested in was the cake in his hand. Even through the box, he could smell the chocolate fragrance.

The back stage looked relatively simple, and with a big curtain pulled, a temporary venue was set up.

Here, almost everyone was not idle. As they walked over, they could see the busy little figures everywhere.

Also, others were responsible for transporting the props, monitoring lighting and sound, reminding performers, handing over the microphone, etc. To let the show be performed smoothly, they were all busy.

Not many things were in charge of by the teachers to assist students in this plan. Other than some necessary guidance, most teachers let their students arrange the plan. They only controlled the situation and reminded the students from the side.

It was hard to imagine that the greatest contributor to this party was actually these children who had not yet grown up.

Although the back stage was simple and crude, the students were also considerate. This place specially prepared a dressing room for the girls to change into costumes.

The young and beautiful female teachers were seizing the time to help children put on makeup. The students who had put on makeup were waiting on the side, and some were still in the final rehearsal.

When Sierra Moore saw Clarison Moore Quinn, he had already changed into his costume and was rehearsing before his appearance.

He was wearing a white tuxedo that did not fit him too well. His hair was combed meticulously and there was a black and white striped bow in front of his shirt. It made him look like Prince Charming in a fairy tale.

He sat quietly in front of the piano, his beautiful fingers dancing on the piano keys.

Beside him sat a girl in a pink dress. Her long curly hair was loose and there was a pink bow-shaped hairpin on it.

The two cooperated with a four-hand play of serenade. They performed very well. Although their performance was not very affectionate, it didn't lack fluency. The beautiful melody attracted many people to watch.

After the song ended, the little fatty couldn't help but run over. His voice broke the good atmosphere, "Clarison Moore Quinn, your sister is here."

Clarison Moore heard this and quickly turned around. When he saw Sierra Moore, a big smile appeared on his face. His handsome appearance immediately captured the hearts of many girls.

The handsome young man couldn't see anyone else in his eyes. At this moment, he lost maturity in the eyes of his classmates. He quickly ran over and hugged Sierra Moore's waist, calling her affectionately, "Sister, you're here!"

Sierra Moore smiled and rubbed his hair, saying, "This is the first time I've seen Clarison play the piano! Very well played!"

It was an ordinary compliment, but it made Clarison Moore Quinn blush with embarrassment.

"I already said that I don't want to go on stage, but the teacher said that if I didn't go on stage, no one would be able to play this tune with Linna."

With his annoyed face, he was about to go on stage and still looked very reluctant.

Sierra Moore could not help but laugh. She pinched his cheeks and teased, "Our Clarison is so cute. Do his teachers and classmates know about it?"

Although her voice was not loud, a lot of people still heard her words and immediately covered their mouths to laugh.

Clarison Moore Quinn was both angry and embarrassed, and he looked at Sierra Moore with his cheeks bulging in dissatisfaction, "Sis..."

"Alright, alright, I won't tease you anymore." Sierra Moore smiled and patted him on the shoulder. "Don't pout. I bought the cake. Call your classmates over to eat together!"

Clarison Moore hadn't spoken yet, but the little fatty was already impatient. As he ran, he shouted, "Students from Class 1, come here quickly. There is delicious food here. Clarison Moore Quinn's sister is treating everyone to a cake."

Sierra Moore could not help but smile when she heard this, thinking to herself, "This little fatty is really too cute."

Soon, under the little fatty's "recruitment", a dozen students surrounded him.

The snacks that Sierra Moore brought were quickly divided among the students, and then everyone stretched their greedy hands toward the chocolate cake that was emitting a tempting aroma.

Clarison Moore quickly squeezed in to protect the cake. He stared at them in a mischievous manner to instruct them, "Don't eat it all. My sister and I haven't eaten yet!"
