The car screeched to a halt, nearly sending Danielle into the dashboard. She gasped for air, her face pale.

"Get out." Zachary's eyes swept over Danielle, his tone ice-cold.

Danielle bit her lip. "Zach... I know I was wrong."

"I said, get out!" His cold stare made these simple words impossible to disobey.

"This is the loop road. You're going to leave me here?" Danielle's eyes reddened.

"Isn't Ms. Rogers supposed to be so capable? Is this too much for you?" ...
