Chapter 26 You Dare Cheat Me?

Trevor was afraid that Layla would mess it up when asked by his mother, he started the introduction first, “Layla is the daughter of Frank, you know, the boss of Frank Real Estate Company.

“Although the company is not a big one, it has a good fame these years without any violation of law.

“Layla is his second daughter. She’s nice, unlike those misses who’s got a bad temper.”

”Oh, that’s-that’s great!” Johnson was satisfied with his son’s introduction. Although in his heart, Layla couldn’t be compared to Samantha, and Frank Real Estate was not comparable to Scott Group, this girl was still pleasing to the eye.

”Layla, just take some juice. Is the outside hot?” Haley entertained her warmly.

”It’s hot, but much cool inside.” Layla was very gentle with a smile, and Haley felt comfortable at her look.

She could never know, the girl who looked dignified and well-mannered was actually a crazy girl in the back.

Haley exchanged a glance with Johnson and slowly said, “Trevor, Layla is only 18 years old. I’m afraid that she can't get a marriage certificate in this age. But it doesn't matter. Let’s hold a wedding feast first.

“Two years later, when Layla is twenty, you go to get the certificate then.”

”I’ve planned it well, Mum. After she get her passport, I’ll take her to the Bilton and register for our marriage. There’s no such a restriction to the age.

“We’ll have a honeymoon by the way, enjoying ourselves.” Saying this, he looked at Layla by his side affectionately.

He must perform he loved her so much that his parents could believe him this was for his true love, not benefits.

”Okay, take your time. If there is a matter in the company, hand it over to your father.

“You two should work hard and bring me back a grandson after your honeymoon.” Haley said with her eyes lighting up, and an image of a healthy and active kid came up into her mind.

Layla’s face blushed: how could she make it so straightforward? However, she did not want to have a baby with this man!

Haley saw that Layla was embarrassed, so she didn’t entangle this problem and naturally changed the topic, “Layla, are you still going to school? Which school?”

Layla was at a loss. When she graduated from high school, she did not intend to continue to go to college, and she had no money for it.

Trevor had already considered it, so he said leisurely, “She just graduated from high school this year. And I don't think the ordinary university is suitable for her and arranged her to go to Dwichen’s College and learn Chinese major. I don't expect her to be a scholar, just hoping she can read more classical poetry and foreign classics, and cultivate her taste.”

“This is a good idea. I mean, you graduated from Dwichen’s College, and we are the biggest shareholder of that school. If Layla is pregnant, it’s easy to ask a temporary absence for her.”

Haley wanted a grandson so much that she came back after a few words, and Layla felt embarrassed all of a sudden.

“When are you going to the Bilton? Will we hold the wedding feast in Avalon before you leave or after?”

Haley was very concerned about her son’s marriage, and her smile has never disappeared

“I plan to go to the Bilton first and have a honeymoon trip. Layla is young, and she’s a student. It is not suitable for her to attend a big feast.

“We’d better hold the wedding when Layla is a little older.” Trevor said, and he would absolutely not to let the outside know his marriage.

Just as he said before, he only liked the her body, and he didn’t love her at all. Since it was possible to divorce at any time, there was no need for them to make this marriage too big.

“Hey! That’s ridiculous!” Johnson was a little bit angry.

In the past few years, he saw his old friends’ children getting married, and he hoped to give his son and daughter-in-law a grand wedding ceremony in the future, never thinking his son would want to have a honeymoon trip.

Johnson resolutely opposed his son’s honeymoon trip, and so did Haley.

The most important purpose of Trevor’s marriage was to obtain inheritance rights. Although he admitted he was obsessed with the body of the little girl, he knew that this was not love.

A marriage without love was bound to fail. Since the divorce was doomed, the marriage must be kept in a low profile, so that it would not become the headline of newspapers and magazines when they were divorced.

Trevor couldn’t directly confront his parents, so he simply found a reason.

Frank’s Group was too small now, and it would take them a year or two to support it getting stronger.

When the strength of Frank Real Estate got better, they would hold the wedding ceremony officially, and both of the two families would have a face.

Trevor’s statement was useful.

Johnson recognized his idea, but his son should not blindly help Frank Real Estate. Only when there were profits, could they talk about cooperation and support.

As for Haley, Trevor only need to ensure that even if he would not hold the feast, he would not delay the birth of her grandson.

Haley would have nothing to say, for her grandson was the first in her mind.

Layla had her dinner very carefully. It was a tiring day, so she was already hungry, but she could only taste the dishes near her, simply taking a little. She dared not gorge, for fear of being inelegant.

After dinner, Layla remembered that Trevor had asked her to go to the kitchen to give a hand, so she went to clear up with the servants.

Trevor raised his eyebrows and looked at her, and she finished her duty quickly. Haley immediately and politely invited Layla to watch TV.

Layla unconsciously glanced at Trevor, which made him have a sense of achievement. “Okay, be with my parents. We have servants to do these jobs.”

Layla followed Haley went to sit in the couch blankly.

Johnson was watching the news. Although the two women did not care about the national events, they could only watch together with him.

Trevor returned to his room and took something, and he left with Layla.

It had been at least seven or eight years that Trevor did not spend one night with his parents at home.

“Girl, except the 90-degree bow in the beginning, which was too exaggerated, other performances are not bad. I have been worried that you would have a big fall in high heels, but you were reliable unexpectedly.” Trevor praised the little girl while driving.

“Today’s overall performance just passed, so what rewards do you want?” Trevor was in a very good mood at that time, as long as her requirements were reasonable, he will meet her needs.

“Treat me with a big meal.” Layla blurt out and covered her growling belly, and then added, “You said that I’m not allowed to eat much, otherwise it will not be elegant, but I am starving now.”

“What do you want to eat?” Trevor asked.

“Hot pot, ten grilled meat, and a bottle of Coke.” Layla wanted them with a greedy drooling.

Trevor stunned at that and immediately turned the car around. “No junk food. If you like snacks, I’ll take you to the food court where the snacks are clean and the environment is good.”

Layla didn’t object, and she knew that there was no stance for her to say no. Anyway, she was so hungry, and she was never a picky eater—it would be fine to have something to eat, except stinky tofu.

Soon, Layla sat in the private dining room of the restaurant. The decoration was luxurious, and it was apparently a high-end place.

The snacks came one by one, all of which were delicate, and the roadside stall foods were not comparable with them.

Layla didn’t perform as a lady any more, but began to gorge with a bad table manner. Trevor sighed that fortunately his parents did not see this scene, otherwise this marriage would not come through.

“Why don't you eat? This shrimp dumpling tastes good. Give it a try.” Layla waved her small oily hands in front of Trevor.

Trevor sat next to Layla, but he didn’t eat anything. Hearing her invitation, he couldn’t help but frown, but looking at her excitement, he finally grabbed a bite.

“You can reapply your ID card tomorrow. I believe the passport will be available soon.” Trevor said. Layla thought about it and replied, “Actually, I didn’t lose my ID card.”

“You...you dare to lie to me?” Trevor was annoyed, and suddenly caught

Layla’s wrist, and the chopsticks fell instantly.

“I didn’t mean it. I didn't want to marry you at the time so I lie to you. Now I know I can’t escape, so...”

Layla’s voice was getting lower, and in the end he could hardly hear what she said. After all, Trevor was angry, and she was still a little scared.

“Give me your ID card.” Trevor issued his orders, and the tone was unquestionable.

“I couldn’t afford the rent before, and my ID card and mobile phone were pledged to the landlord.” Layla whispered with a look of grievances.

Trevor felt very angry that how could she give the ID card to someone else, and why was this clumsy girl so lacking of minds?

How could he, the presidential Moore Group find such a silly wife?

He finally made up his mind that if he met a better one in the future, he would change his wife immediately.

“Haven’t you done?” Trevor asked angrily. Layla nodded and shook his head., so Trevor was not clear. “I’m asking you questions.”

“I’m full, but not stuffed.” Layla finished her expression with a little bit of embarrassment.

“If you are full, that’s enough! Take the ID card back!”

Trevor was very sensitive to such documents.

His documents were also kept very well, for fear someone would take advantages of them; the little girl just handed over the identity card to the others—she was really dim-witted.

Layla saw his frown and cold face, and did not dare to mention to eat anything else. All she could do was to find the landlord with Trevor.

The landlord was a man who lived money so much that he could do anything for it. Trevor threw him a was of bills, and he immediately gave her ID card and mobile phone to Layla, and said a lot of polite words.

The landlord left. Layla still wouldn’t want to leave her small crude room.

“Won’t leave? You want to sprout and bloom here?” Trevor roared.

“May I pack things up?” Layla cautiously asked.

Trevor looked around Layla’s small crude room and couldn't help but frown, “Just throw away all your garbages.

Layla was also a short-tempered person. Hearing that her things were rubbish, she immediately became angry. “Why do you say that my things are garbage? I want to keep them. If you don't allow me to take my things, I won’t go with you. Humph, even if my stuff is garbage, I’ll live and die with them.”
