Leo was getting a bit frantic. He really wanted to question her why she stayed out all night, why she lied and what secrets she was hiding.

But he understood that there was no turning-back once something was said or done.

Taking a deep breath, he decided to do a secret investigation.

If she stayed out all night for a reasonable reason, then he would pretend nothing had ever happened.

But if she really cheated on him, then he would interrogate her directly and end this insincere marriage after getting the evidence of her betrayal.

After making up his mind, he got up from the sofa, cleaned all the traces he left behind, pulled the suitcase and walked out of the house sadly.

Outside the neighborhood, he hailed a cab and called his leader Mr. Andrew in the cab asking for a day of annual leave. After a short talk, he hung up the phone with a heavy heart.

He made another call to his childhood friend Kevin to borrow his car when he approached the destination.

To avoid exposing himself, he couldn't drive his car during the investigation. But it was impossible to track down a person without a car as a means of transport.

The cab stopped at an entrance of a luxurious neighborhood. Leo saw immediately a strong man walking towards him when he just got off the cab.

He had a very good relationship with his childhood friend Kevin. They could be deemed faithful pals growing up together because they knew each other well from childhood.

After paying for the cab, Kevin asked him confusedly, "Didn't you go to Singapore? When did you come back?"

"The flight was canceled due to the weather. So I didn't make it there." Leo replied absentmindedly.

"What's wrong, dude? You look terrible. What happened?"

"Nothing. Lend me your car. I need to use it for two days."

"You are not telling me the truth. You must have something on your mind. It's definitely ok for me to lend you my car. But you have to tell me what's going on?"

"Don't ask. Just give me the key!"

"Come on, Leo. We are lifelong friends. Do you still want to hide something from me? Tell me what happened."

Leo hesitated for a while and finally could not help but say, "Vivian didn't return home last night. I don’t know where she was and I want to find out!"

"Really? But she is not a party animal. Hasn't she run into some kind of trouble?"

"She lied to me that she rested at home and continued to lie to me this morning. I really want to find out now where she went last night, who she was with and whether she did this often or not when I was away on a business trip?"

"You shouldn't doubt her. She is not that kind of person!"

"That's why I have to find it out. Cut the crap and give me the car key."

Kevin handed Leo the key and repeatedly advised him not to act impulsively and stay calm if anything really happened. And he could call him anytime if he needed help.

Leo replied to him with a few words impatiently and drove his car towards Vivian's school. He did not know where to find her. So he could only choose to track her from her school.

Leo found a suitable parking space to park the car where was near the entrance of the school. Then he adjusted the car seat to a lower position and stayed down.

This location was an ideal place to spy on the school gate. If Vivian was on and off work as usual today, then he could definitely see her.

At this peak moment when students went to school, the entrance of the school was crowded with incessant people and vehicles.

Leo intentionally looked for Vivian's red car in her usual parking space several times, but he didn't find it. It seemed that she had not yet arrived at school. But it was already getting late. He didn't know if she would still come to work today.
