In room 701, Leo continued to smoke and monitor the parking lot.

About forty minutes later, there was a knock on the door and Sophie yelled outside, "Open the door. It's me!"

Leo ran over and opened the door. He immediately ran to the window to continue his surveillance, not waiting for Sophie to come in.

Sophie walked into the room, closed the door, turned on the exhaust fan and said with a frown, "You need to smoke less. You're almost invisible in such a smoky room."

"Charge my phone!" said Leo.

He dumped his phone on the bed and continued to stare at the car park.

Sophie charged his phone, walked over to him and asked, "What are you looking at?"

"They were driving Vivian's car and I was waiting for her."

"Are you sure they will come?"

"Not sure, but what I can ensure is that she was out all night yesterday, staying with a man here."

"They stayed here yesterday, but it doesn't mean they'll come today. I'm afraid it's not a good idea for you to wait like this."

Leo froze and thought, "Yes, you’re is right. Isn't it a bit impulsive for me to do this?"

After hesitating for a moment, Leo still said obstinately, "I think they will come back again. There's no need to change the hotel. Don't you think it’s troublesome to do so? As long as they don't go to my house, the likelihood of them coming here is the highest."

"And what if they go to your house?"

"It doesn't matter. I told her that I wouldn't be home until the day after tomorrow. If I can't see for them here, I'll catch them home!"

Sophie also peered down. She looked for a moment and reached out to tug on Leo's arm.

"I've brought you some food. Go and have something to eat while I spy for you!"

By the time the car passed the street light, Leo finally saw its color. A red car. It was Vivian's car.

"No need to go home. They're back!"

The car stopped in the parking space and the young man got out of the car with Vivian. They walked towards the hotel lobby, talking and laughing.
