Chapter 13 Family Matters

The room was crowded with the noises and the sound of fighting, which finally alarmed the hotel security. A few big guys rushed in and forced the two men who were still fighting to be separated.

Leo breathed fiercely with his clothes in a mess and blood on the corner of his mouth. He still looked like an indignant air.

But Tommy was in a much worse situation, with a bloody nose and a swollen face. His whole face was covered in bruises, which made it hard to recognize him.

Even worse, his nose was broken by Leo and exaggeratedly bent to one side.

A security guard who looked like their leader asked, "Sir, do you need an ambulance?"

"No need!" Tommy muttered. He covered his nose with his hands and fiercely twisted it with a crunching sound. And when he loosened his hands, the nasal bone was already in place with blood flowing rapidly out of his nose.

"Sh*t! He is capable of doing such a thing to himself." Leo secretly cursed and looked at him with hatred.

The long-haired beautiful woman helped him to sit in a chair, holding up his head and wiping his face with a wet towel.

Vivian wanted to help Tommy as well, but she hesitated for a moment and decided to remain to hold Leo's arm, looking at her husband with concern.

A hint of loss flashed through Tommy's eyes. He closed his eyes and seemed to be lost in thoughts. But what he was thinking couldn't be known.

Another security guard asked in a low voice, "Boss, should we call the police?"

The leading security guard didn't answer. Before he made up his mind, the long-haired woman yelled, "Call the police. You must call the police immediately. Otherwise, the whole thing would be counted as your fault."

"Ok, call the police then!" Sophie countered in a firm voice, "If you have the guts, call the police right now. Do you think that we're afraid to let the police deal with this situation?"

Vivian immediately stopped them, "No more talking. No need to call the police. Sir, these are our family matters. We can solve them by ourselves."

The leading security guard seemed a little nonplussed and said, "But this gentleman got so seriously injured. This whole thing..."

"I'm fine." Tommy raised his head and responded, "Just some bruises. No big deal. Vivian is right. Those are our family matters. We can find a way to work them out."

This was exactly what they were waiting for. Anyone who engaged in business was willing to avoid trouble whenever possible. Since it was a family matter, the hotel was naturally willing to try first to solve the issue and then to reduce it to nothing at all.

After sending those security guards away, Vivian came back and grabbed Leo's hands, "Honey, come home with me. Let's go home and I will explain this to you!"

Although he failed to get the evidence of their adultery, he felt less angry after giving Tommy a beat. He knew that there was no point in continuing this quarrel. He knew better that such a thing needed to be dealt with at home.

"Don't let me see you again!" After saying out these ruthless words, Leo turned back and walked towards the door. Sophie followed him closely and left the room together.

Vivian looked at Tommy apologetically and wanted to say something, but she didn't know what to say.

The long-haired woman sighed and swore in a low voice, "Have a good look at him yourself. That's the man you chose. He's a jerk. I really don't know why you choose him."

"Mrs. Laura!"

"Well. Fine. Just go. I can take care of Tommy. Just go back or your man will make foolish actions again."

Vivian replied with a "yes" and made an apologetic smile at Tommy, and then left the room in a hurry.

After getting out of the door, she found that they were going to the direction of the staircase. Vivian caught up with them and asked, "Where are you going?"

"Check out!"

"Check out? Why do you need to check out?"

Vivian soon knew the answer. She got angry and stared at Sophie as if she had intended to kill her!
