Chapter 15 Everyone Has a Load On Mind

In the end, they chose to drive Kevin's car.

Leo couldn't identify the reasons, but indeed he began to dislike the red Toyota.

Sophie triumphantly got in the front passenger seat first and looked happy.

Vivian bit her lip and sat silently in the back seat. She turned her face and looked out of the car window, looking preoccupied.

Leo ignored her feelings because he thought there were still many doubts, for example, why she lied and why she turned off GPS.

If Tommy were really her relative, why did she hide the truth from him? Was her relative too stigmatized to be presented to others?

Leo didn't believe Vivian's explanation at all.

He thought that Vivian was still lying and concealing the truth. She hoped that he could trust her. But shouldn't the basis of mutual trust be honest with each other?

How could a woman full of lies be qualified to be trusted by her husband, and how could such a woman who make her husband believe that she didn't betray their marriage?

However, there was one thing Vivian was right that some matters needed to be discussed at home to avoid being seen as a joke by others.

After the car ignited, Sophie said to Leo, "Go to the airport first. My luggage is still there. After picking up my luggage, then you drive me home."

"What? You didn't even carry your luggage?"

"Hum. That's because I'm worried that you may do something stupid, and you suffer from hunger. So I came straight after I got off the plane. Thus, I didn't carry the luggage."

Vivian turned her head. And just now in room 701, she noticed that a few drinks and some cigarettes were set on the windowsill.

It could be assumed that her husband lived a terrible day and did not eat and rest properly.

"Honey, I'm sorry!"

"We will talk about it when we arrive home." Leo replied nonchalantly.

He drove to the airport first, picked up the luggage, and then drove Sophie home. She lived in a villa area with graceful surroundings, surrounded by mountains and water.

At the entrance of the villa area, she got out of the car. And Leo helped her take the luggage out and intended to help her with her luggage to her doorstep.

Sophie took the suitcase back and thanked him for his kind offer.

"You don't need to walk me home. It's very near from here." said she while she turned her head towards the back seat of the car, "You hurry home to save someone from criticizing me for being intentional."

Leo smiled and didn't insist and turned around to get into the car to leave.

Sophie shouted to Vivian who sat at the back seat of the car, "Hey, Vivian, I advise you to tell the truth. He won't buy your story. Just tell the truth. It will be a relief for all of us!"

"None of your business!" Vivian's voice came from the back seat of the car with an unfriendly tone.

Sophie grunted, pulled her suitcase, and left.

Leo watched Sophie swipe her card to enter the villa area. And then he ignited the vehicle and turned it around to drive home.

On the way back, the two didn't speak a word to each other. The silence was broken until Kevin's call came in.

Leo got through the call, through which coming the voice of Kevin with a concerned tone, "Leo, where are you now? Are you ok? Did anything happen?"

"I'm ok. Everything's fine. I'll return your car tomorrow!"

"There's no rush. Keep it if you still need it. How about Vivian? Did you get the evidence?"

"She is in the car right now. Talk to you later!"

"Ah? Well then. We'll talk later. Remember. Don't do anything impulsive."

"I got it. Bye!"
