When Vivian met Sophie, Vivian behaved well as usual. In the face of Sophie’s question, Vivian answered, “You have a problem with me?”

Sophie looked unhappy and answered unhurriedly, “I think you got the wrong idea. I don’t have a problem with you, but I think you might cause trouble for Leo if you did this. If the company finds out about this, Leo will be punished.”

“That’s weird. The only person who knows about this is you. Unless you snitch on Leo, the company won’t know!”

“Come on, I couldn’t care less. But listen carefully. Although I won’t snitch on Leo, the company will still find out.”

Why would the company know? Sophie thought it was such a lame question. Because her family owned the company and she could be a representative of the company to some extent.

However, she had to hold her tongue.

Disdainfully, Vivian glared at her and said provokingly, “Do you even think you’re making sense now? Stop finding excuses for yourself. Go ahead and snitch on him. I’m not afraid of you!”

Sophie was so mad at it but she did not know how to respond.

Vivian kept egging her on, “What’s wrong? Are you scared? Go ahead and snitch on him. Just call the company. Why are you chickening out?”

Hurriedly, Leo tried to step in, “Come on, both of you ease out a bit. Honey, don’t be angry. We’re supposed to have fun on this trip. Don’t spoil the mood.”

Then, he said to Sophie, “Don’t be mad. I know I’m at fault for this, but don’t worry, I won’t let anything affect our work. But if you don’t feel comfortable about this, do as you please.”

Instantly, Sophie said, “No, no. Don’t worry. I won’t snitch on you. Just let her be. I have no objections.”

Hearing that, Vivian sighed. Her plan failed. Sophie actually agreed to keep quiet about it.

In fact, she wanted Sophie to report it to the company so that Sophie would no longer get in her and Leo’s way.

If Sophie chose to snitch on Leo, Leo would admit to his mistakes and stay away from Sophie in the future even if Sophie seemed to be right.

By then, Sophie would feel ashamed to stick by Leo as well.

It was too bad that Sophie was too smart for that.

Sophie was fine with getting jealous or angry, but she would never let Leo get into trouble.

Hence, she decided to provoke Vivian by using another method. Cutely, she uttered to Leo, “Leo, I’m thirsty. Can you buy me a bottle of water?”

Without hesitation, Leo stood up and was about to walk away. Right away, Vivian grabbed him and asked discontentedly, “Where are you going?”

“To buy a bottle of water(British Accent)!”

“For who?”

“Both of you!”

“Alright then. Anyway, I do feel a little thirsty. Go get me one bottle of water. But you can only buy a bottle of water. Not more than one, got it?”

Breaking out into a cold sweat, Leo was put in a difficult position. Why would Vivian make a fuss out of a small matter? He was just trying to give his colleague a helping hand. Did she have to over-react like that?

“Honey, Sophie is thirsty as well. Since I’m going to get you some water, I’ll get one for her as well. Don’t be like this, okay?”

“She’s not immobilized. She can buy her own water. Why does she need someone else’s husband to buy her water?” Vivian uttered with disapproval.

Standing up, Sophie said casually, “You’re right. I’ll buy my own water. Let’s go, Leo. We’ll go buy the water together!”

But Leo did not dare to move an inch. Sitting down next to Vivian, he waved his hand at Sophie, gesturing to her not to make things worse.

Vivian was satisfied with Leo’s response. He even remembered to save her some face. Thinking of that, Vivian felt somewhat proud.

Sophie was so angry and she walked away without looking back.

After Sophie left, Leo said to Vivian carefully, “Honey, give her a break, alright?”

“No way. It’s her fault for getting on my nerves. I’m going to chase her away.”

“What are you talking about? She’s here for work. If you chase her away, I’m going to have to deal with all the work alone. Don’t be ridiculous and embarrass ourselves, alright?”

Keeping silent, Vivian pinched Leo, which was obviously discontented with what her husband just said.

Soon after, Sophie came back with two bottles of water.

Seeing Sophie walking up to them from far away, he started grumbling secretly. He knew that Sophie was about to start a war again.

Indeed, Sophie handed him a bottle of water, “Leo, I bought this bottle of water for you, just for you!”

Of course, he did not have the guts to take the water. He was quietly swearing at Sophie for creating more problems for him.

Seeing Leo not accepting the water, Sophie shoved the bottle into his hands.

Instantly, Vivian raged. Sophie was literally declaring war with her.

After all, Leo was her husband.

Sophie was outright challenging her.

Without hesitating, Vivian grabbed the drink, turned around, and was about to throw the drink into the rubbish bin.

Hurriedly, Leo stopped her. If Vivian actually did that, the two women would really start a fight, and they would end up in the police station.

Unscrewing the bottle, he gulped down all the water in one go. Then, he took Sophie’s water and drank everything as well.

Breathless, he said to them, “I’m thirsty, so I drank everything. None of you will get anything!”

The bystanders started laughing at them. Feeling slightly embarrassed, Vivian and Sophie sat down and did not say anything.

Soon after, the boarding call rang out, Leo heaved a sigh of relief.

Finally, they made it to the plane! He made up his mind to not let them get together after they got off the plane. Otherwise, he might get himself into unnecessary trouble.

Vivian and Leo checked in online, so their seats were located next to each other. In order to let Vivian rest better, Leo even chose a seat next to a window.

On the other hand, Sophie was not that lucky. She wanted to sit with Leo, but after seeing Vivian, she got so angry that she lost all her senses. Her seat was a few rows away from Leo and Vivian.

After everybody boarded the plane, Sophie approached the man sitting next to Leo, “Sir, can I switch seats with you?”

Seeing a girl asking him a favor, the man nodded his head without hesitation.

Leo was shocked. How could he survive sitting between his wife and his colleague who love him?

“No!” Leo shouted, “Come on Sophie!”

Hearing that, the passengers burst into laughter. Some of them had already seen them fighting in the airport, so they kept on watching the fun. Some of them even started heckling.

The man was so confused and he thought that the people were laughing at him. Hurriedly, he stood up and dashed to the seat behind.

Sophie sat down and looked at Vivian complacently.

Vivian’s blood was boiling. How dared Sophie to provoke her openly? She would never let her off so easily.

However, before she could lose her temper, Leo collapsed into her embrace, “Honey, I feel dizzy. Hug me.”

Instantly, her anger dissipated. So what if Sophie kept provoking her? Leo was her husband. Even if she was sitting next to him, he would just ignore her.

Sophie could not do anything now. She couldn’t just pull Leo away from Vivian as she would appear too rude then.

After a while, the cabin crew started to check on the passengers as they prepared for takeoff. An air steward approached them and said to Leo politely, “Sir, please fasten your seat belt. We are about to take off soon.”

“I’m done fastening my seat belt!” Leo patted the seat belt on his waist.

“Sir, can you please sit up straight?”

“I can’t. I don’t fell well if I sit up straight.”

“Sir, it’s the rule. If you felt unwell, you might have to leave the plane to get treatment. Please cooperate with us.”

Well, Leo could only sit up straight. Then, he begged Vivian, “Honey, I’ll sit up straight for now. I’ll lie down after the plane takes off.”

Vivian knew that it was not the right time to make a scene. They might get kicked out of the plane if they did not listen to the air steward. Hence, she nodded her head gently and held Leo’s arm tightly.

Sophie did not show any reaction. On the contrary, she closed her eyes.

After the plane took off, Vivian tugged on Leo’s arm, and they cuddled with each other again.

Surprisingly, Sophie kept quiet the whole time as though she did not know them. However, she was secretly pinching Leo.

Finally, they arrived at their destination. After disembarking the plane and collecting their luggage, Vivian hugged Leo’s arm and they walked in front of Sophie. Sophie simply kept silent.

Suddenly, Vivian halted in her steps and asked, “Why are you following us? Are you staying with us?”

“Mrs. Vivian, do you think you’re on a honeymoon. Leo and I are here to work. Of course, we will stay together.”

Vivian could not refute Sophie’s sarcastic statement. Sophie was right. They were here to work. In fact, she was the one interrupting them.

However, she really wanted to spend time alone with Leo. She did not want others to interrupt them. Not to mention it was someone she hated.

As she was still pondering on how to get rid of Sophie, Leo spoke, “Honey, I am here to bid for something, so I have many things to discuss with Sophie. It’s more convenient for us to stay together.”

Seeing Vivian’s unhappy face, Leo quickly explained, “Of course, we only stay at the same hotel, not in the same room. Don’t get the wrong idea.”

Vivian snorted. Obviously, she knew they were not going to stay in the same room. But she was still annoyed.

Even so, she knew that she needed to prioritize Leo’s work. It was her first time to accompany Leo on a business trip, so she did not want to affect his work. Otherwise, she might not get the chance to go on a business trip with him again.

Thinking of that, she nodded her head reluctantly.
