Chapter 3 If You Lose, You Should Marry Me

"No!"

"This is impossible!"

"How could it be you that night!"

After seeing the photo and the paper, Melina screamed uncontrollably.

"I also hope that it is not me, but this is real. Plus, you should also know the handwriting on it. It is your so-called boyfriend, Dorian, who signed it."

Luther's cold voice did not fluctuate, but Melina could still sense a hint of ridicule in it.

That day had been too much for her to handle.

First, her dead "child" appeared, then this man told her that her boyfriend did not love her at all! The pregnancy back then was a well-planned scam!

How could it be!

They loved each other so much. She and Dorian had been together since high school.

This was fake, it must be fake, Melina hypnotized herself.

"No, this is not true..." Melina took a deep breath and squeezed out a smile that was uglier than crying.

"Mr. Blackwood, I know that you have a big business and have all kinds of means. It is not difficult to make a fake paternity test, but I really don't know you, and I can't believe the so-called evidence you put out. I love my boyfriend very much. He also loves me very much. If there is nothing else, I want to go home."

As Melina spoke, she stood up from her chair and walked towards the door with her bag.

Seeing she was about to leave, the baby became anxious and wanted to chase after her. But just as he took a step, he was pulled back by his father by the collar.

"Since Miss Winslow is so confident, why don't we make a bet?"

Melina's hand was already on the doorknob, but a voice sounded from behind her.

Turning back, she bumped into a firm, strong chest.

Boom--

Her face blushed.

"Mr. Blackwood, I really don't have time to joke with you. Please let me go." Melina smiled bitterly.

"Let you go? What about my child? Melina, do you know how much effort I spent to find you?"

Melina was speechless.

She wanted to say that she was going to pay for it, but then she remembered the news article in the financial newspaper. Her salary was calculated by a month, but his, the person in front of her, was calculated by seconds.

"But this is too much of a coincidence. Plus, I don't believe that my boyfriend will betray me!" Thinking of Dorian, Melina couldn't help but reveal a trace of tenderness.

Luther, whose face was under the mask, couldn't help but frown.

"Since you are so confident, why are you afraid to gamble with me? Or are you afraid that everything is true and that you don't dare to face it?"

As he spoke, the man's body leaned over again. The powerful aura made Melina have the illusion of being a timid and lovable little woman.

"I..."

"What? Do you dare or not?"

The man's unique voice carried a bewitching charm. Melina nodded as if she was possessed.

"What's the bet?" She asked.

"Don't go to work tomorrow morning. Go to his company and ask him whether he loves you or not."

"Huh? That's it?" Melina could not believe it.

"Yes, remember to go in work time. If he loves you, I will not disturb you in the future. But, if he does not love you, you will marry me and be my son's mother. Oh no, you're already his mother." Luther said confidently, as if he was sure to win.

Seeing that Melina was really going to leave, the baby, who had been silent all this time, rushed over and hugged her leg while shouting, "Dad, are you going to let Mommy go just like this? What if you lose?"

"Lose? The word 'lose' doesn't exist in my vocabulary."

"Silly boy, if you don't make your mother give up her boyfriend, how can she love you wholeheartedly?" Luther took two quick steps and pulled his baby back.

"Miss Winslow, do as you wish."

Along with his voice, the door automatically slid open automatically. Looking at the dark surroundings outside, Melina couldn't help but shiver. Her eyebrows suddenly throbbed, and she had a really bad feeling.
