Chapter 1 Plastics Can Be a Human Too?

August in Arlington was the month when the fragrance of osmanthus flowers permeated the surrounding air. The feather-light breeze gently stroked the trees, leading to waves of blossom shower. Passers-by stopped in their tracks, mesmerized by the beauty of the scenery.

However, Evelyn Morgan, who was in a rush for her appointment, did not have the leisure to do so.

In the morning, after registering to the Forensic Office of City Police Department, she made a trip to school after noting that the time was still early. Initially, she intended to send Morris back home, but the tire of her scooter punctured suddenly. After much difficulty, she managed to repair the tire, but the remaining time was insufficient to allow her to go back home, hence she had to bring Morris to her date.

Thinking of her mother's lion-like roar, she felt her scalp tingle. She did not dare to dawdle for a second longer. Seeing the red traffic light ahead starting the five seconds countdown, she hurriedly increased the speed of her scooter to the maximum, in anticipation of using these precious few seconds to speed across the zebra crossing.

In the meantime, Theodore Kingsley, who was seated inside the car leisurely listening to music while waiting for the red traffic light to turn green, saw his phone ringing. He immediately connected his Bluetooth device.

The moment it connected, his servant Garcia Branwell's panicked voice was heard, "Young Master, Senior Master is missing!"

"What?! Where did he go missing?!" Theodore suddenly sat bolt upright.

Senior Master was his grandfather who was nearly in his eighties. Lately he had been diagnosed with brain atrophy, hence he was not as sharp as he used to be anymore.

Garcia sobbed and said, "The Rising Sun Plaza. I accompanied him there like always..."

At the exact moment, the traffic light turned green. Without waiting for her to finish her sentence, Theodore stepped on the accelerator.

Bang!

"Ahhh!"

Screech—

Theodore noticed he had hit a person. He stopped his car immediately and went out to investigate.

"Morris!"

Evelyn, who fell down after the accident, got up immediately and turned her head. She saw Morris, who was previously strapped down to the back of the scooter, had fallen head first to the ground. She hurriedly adjusted her scooter into an upright position, but when she saw Morris's broken penis, she felt extremely distressed. Immediately, she turned her eyes to the car owner and angrily questioned him, "Do you know how to drive a car? Don't you understand the traffic signals?"

Although Morris was just a mannequin, he was still precious to her.

Initially, Theodore wanted to help her out, but after hearing her words, he immediately withdrew his helping hand and coldly stated, "I was driving normally. It was you who disobeyed the traffic rules."

Evelyn picked up the castrated penis, while turning her head to see the traffic signals. She vaguely knew she was in the wrong, but when she saw the injured Morris, her temper flared up again. "The rules are dead, but humans are alive. I crossed the zebra crossing first, you..."

When she saw Theodore getting into the car, she rushed toward his car window and shouted angrily, "You've hit a person and still wanted to run away? Did you know that a hit and run will result in a harsher penalty?!"

Theodore who was in a hurry to leave, angrily retorted, "Well, you seem fine to me."

"I'm fine, but my Morris is injured. See!" Evelyn pointed at Morris. "He is injured and you must be held accountable for him!"

"This pile of plastic trash can be considered a human being too?" Theodore nonchalantly rolled up his car window.

Seeing Morris being insulted, Evelyn furiously pressed down against the window while defending Morris, "Morris is not a pile of rotting plastics! He is my closest friend! I will not allow you to insult him like that!"

Theodore saw the stuff she was carrying and laughed. "I see. Since no man wanted you, you decided to buy a pile of rotting plastics to hug yourself to sleep at night, huh? You are so pathetic and sad."

"You!" Evelyn's face turned bright red at once. "Uncle, did your mother make you into this lustful, dirty guy?"

"Uncle? Me? An uncle? Is this young lady's eyes blind?" Theodore thought.

Theodore knitted his eyebrows together. He was worried about the whereabouts of his grandfather, and seeing the absurdity of her speech, he decided not to waste his time anymore and stepped on the accelerator.

"Don't you dare drive away!" Evelyn stepped in front of the car.

Theodore's patience began to run out. "You scratched my car, I hit your pile of rotten plastics, so we are even. Now move it."

"You insulted Morris! You must apologize to him!"

What? Apologize to a pile of rotten plastics? This was out of the question.

Theodore was uninterested to care about her antics. Since she was standing perfectly straight in front of him, he immediately put his car into reverse gear and reversed it two meters away, before rapidly turning the steering wheel to bypass her and drive away.

"Stop! Apologize to Morris!"

Evelyn knew her attempts were futile. In the heat of the moment, she threw the stuff she was holding in her hand at the car. The moment she realized what she had thrown, she immediately ran after the car shouting, "Stop the car! Give me back Morris's penis!"

"Damn it! Damn it!"

After chasing the car for a few steps, her phone rang.
