Evelyn's heart clenched hearing the sound of her mother's shouting. She instinctively shrank into the kitchen corner and peeked outside.

"Auntie, don't you recognize me? It's Wendy, Wendy."

It turned out to be Wendy. She had forgotten their promise to meet up today.

Evelyn heaved a sigh of relief and laughed at her own overthinking.

Even if the wily old fox needed her, he wouldn't show up at her house. At most, he would make a call. After all, she was now his little pet. All he needed to do was to use his summon card.

"Hey, penny for your thoughts?"

Wendy patted Evelyn as her mother looked on with curiosity. Evelyn gave her a rushed smile. "I was listening to the conversation between you and my mum."

"My mother was pulling your leg."

"It's the truth." Dana Morgan smiled and gestured for them to leave. "I'll wash the dishes. Evelyn, go spend time with Wendy."

"You are such a sweet child. I'll bring over some cut fruits soon."

Evelyn did not pay attention to her mother's words. Instead, she pulled Wendy into her room and closed the door. Then, she whispered in a low voice, "Did you bring it?"

"Of course I brought it." Wendy produced a stick of super glue from her pocket. "What are you going to stick? Why are you so mysterious?"

"Morris's penis is broken." Evelyn held the separated penis in distress and opened the cover of the super glue.

"It's a long story." When Morris's penis was intact, Evelyn sat on her bed and told Wendy about the events of the past two days.

"Shall we exchange souls? Let me enter your body and become you."

Wendy was cut off mid-sentence by Dana's roar. "Evelyn! Which man kissed and touched you?!"

Evelyn felt a shudder seize her body. It was as if a thunderbolt flashed over her sunny day.
