Chapter 12 A Request Unable to Refuse

"Your confidentiality is really too good. How can such a big company in Switzerland not have any news in the country?" Jameson couldn't help but sigh, "If I hadn't been with you day and night, I would have wondered if you joined some mysterious organization."

"If I deliberately hide it, it will be difficult to find it." Rowena tightened her grip, thinking that it was fortunate that Jameson could not see her current expression. Otherwise, based on how familiar he was with her, he would definitely have noticed something, "Well, you and the two children should rest early. The work of Simon's Psychological Clinic will start tomorrow."

The other side answered and hung up.

The next day, just as Rowena sat down in her therapy office, she heard a knock on the door.

Then, an old woman with white hair walked in with a trembling voice. She looked like an old woman in her fifties. When she walked, she even looked like she was 80 years old. She had to hold something to stand firm.

Rowena quickly went forward to help her up. The old woman pushed her back a few times in embarrassment. However, her legs were really inconvenient, so she accepted it, "I'll have to trouble the doctor."

"Auntie, are you feeling unwell?" Rowena supported the old woman to sit down on the stool. She returned to her desk and asked patiently.

"It's not my problem..." The old woman shook her head. Just as she was about to speak, she suddenly stopped and looked around. After making sure that there was no one else besides Rowena, she said, "Doctor, you don't have a camera here, right?"

"No, we will definitely protect your privacy." Rowena tried her best to make her tone more gentle, comforting the old woman's emotions.

"My daughter... has been cheated by a scumbag. Her mood is particularly unstable. Her father and I don't know what to do for her. I heard that your clinic has a good reputation. I want to ask if you have any ways to treat her here." When the old woman described it, her eyes were filled with tears, and her old voice seemed a little weak.

"Can you describe her situation specifically?"

"It's just that... Sometimes, I don't know what stimulated her, she would be so excited that she would yell and even couldn't stop in the middle of the night, smashing things... After a while, she suddenly fell into a low mood. She was not interested in anything and did not respond when others talked to her. She would always talk to herself and say that she wanted to commit suicide..." The old woman really couldn't hold on any longer. Tears fell from her eyes, and her body trembled as she sobbed. The hair on her head trembled as the sunlight shone down on her.

The old woman's helpless look made Rowena's heart hurt.

She was reminded of her mother, thinking to herself, "When my mother learned that I was going to exchange my innocence for medical fees, she must have been so desperate."

"Ms, don't worry. Bring your daughter here." She went around the table, squatted down in front of the old woman, and wiped away the old woman's tears with her palm, "We will definitely help her get through this."

"Good. Good." The old woman suppressed her pain and continued, embarrassed by her own loss of composure, "Doctor, I have a presumptuous request."

"Please speak."

"I want to look for a female doctor to see my daughter's illness. Because... She has just been hurt by a heartless man. If I let her see another man, I am afraid that she will be hurt twice."

Rowena pondered for a moment. According to the old woman's description, her daughter should be suffering from mania. This kind of illness was very dangerous. Generally, male doctors were arranged to go to therapy. But... looking at the old woman's pleading eyes, Rowena felt soft-hearted in the end.

"Okay, then I will be responsible for your daughter's treatment." Rowena stood up and helped the old woman up, "I'll take you to a taxi. Let your daughter come to me this afternoon."

After sending the old woman away, Rowena was about to return to her office when she bumped into Jameson.

"Do you have any plans for this afternoon? There is a psychological lecture from the industry. The main speaker is Dr. Mosen, whom you like. I happen to have two tickets here." Jameson was in a good mood and took out two dark blue tickets from his trouser pocket.

"Ah... I probably can't go. I have an appointment this afternoon." Rowena rubbed her head, her face full of distress. Dr. Mosen was an idol-level senior that she longed to see every day in school. She did not expect to miss such an opportunity.

"Did you just make this arrangement? I don't see therapy on your schedule this afternoon." To book the tickets, Jameson also specifically inquired about Rowena's schedule and confirmed that there were no mistakes before booking this afternoon's lecture.

"Yes, I just picked up a patient who is suspected to be manic and made an appointment this afternoon."

"Mania?" Jameson frowned and looked at Rowena worriedly, "Let me do it. The illness is difficult to control."

"Don't worry. You still don't believe in my ability? Today, the patient's mother came personally. She said that she hoped that a female doctor would come to see the patient." Rowena's eyes darkened a few degrees, "I don't want to disappoint her."

Jameson instantly understood her expression.

Sometimes, it was not a good thing to know her too much, because he gave up on his principles and just wanted to follow her wishes and satisfy her.

He sighed, "Alright, then I'll go listen to the lecture and help you take notes."

"Alright! Thank you, Jameson." Rowena blinked her eyes mischievously. She was too lucky to have a friend like Jameson.

Jameson smiled helplessly. His mobile phone suddenly rang. He picked it up, frowned a little and said, "Wait a minute." He pressed the mute button and turned to Rowena, "Sebastian wants to schedule a consultation with me this afternoon from four to six-thirty."

"With you?" Rowena was a little surprised, but rethinking about it, she felt it was also right. Sebastian had always been looking for Doctor Alex. Although the two of them had coincidentally met on the beach, Sebastian did not know that he was Alex.

"Go ahead and agree to it. Skip the seminar."

Jameson nodded slightly and picked up his phone, agreeing to the request on the other end.

"He should still be suffering from insomnia. Back then, I was afraid that he would see Leo, so I sent him away in a hurry." Rowena sighed, thinking to herself, "Sure enough, I have to pay back sooner or later."

"The strange thing is that the one who called me last time was his assistant. At first, I only knew that he is a big client that has influence. It was you who told me later that I knew the person was Sebastian." Jameson frowned even more deeply, "But this time, he used a private number."

"Sebastian called you personally?" Rowena was shocked again, "He avoided letting other people know... only the three of us know about the consultation? What is his purpose?"

Both of them had doubts in their hearts, but they couldn't think of any obvious answer.

In the afternoon, Rowena was conducting her first consultation with the patient with mania. Unexpectedly, the patient acted quite normally.

After she made an appointment with the patient to come to consultation regularly, Jameson called.

"Rowena, Sebastian canceled the consultation appointment. It seems to be because of an important business banquet."
