Chapter 15 A Woman Who Could Stand Shoulder to Shoulder with Him

The moment Sebastian saw the scarf with a three-petal flower pattern on the woman's face, his heart raced fiercely.

He had only seen that pattern on the scarf that Rosalind had left behind on the first night. From then on, he had always kept that scarf by his side. He did not know why, but he had always been intentionally hiding it from others. He had never even shown it to Rosalind.

And now, that pattern actually appeared here.

He stared into the woman's eyes, wanting to hold her and ask her face to face. However, there were too many people around. Rosalind was also standing not far away. It would not be good if he pulled another woman.

The man's gaze was as deep as a black hole. Rowena was almost sucked in by the man's gaze. She wanted to move her line of sight away, but it was as if she was frozen. She was unable to move.

After a long time, she finally came back to her senses and turned around awkwardly, continuing to listen to Professor Mosen on the stage.

"Alright, that's all I want to say. Everyone, may I ask who has the intention to cooperate?"

The people below the stage fought to raise their hands one after another, showing the price they were willing to pay and the service they could offer. The scene was very lively.

"Professor Mosen, I'm willing to invest three hundred million, provided that you can sign your name and directly use it for commercial publicity."

"Professor Mosen, I offer five hundred million."

"One billion."

It was like an auction, and the price kept going high. On the stage, Mosen maintained a kind smile on his face, watching the people below the stage fight for the right to use his name.

He had long known that this would be the scene.

"Five hundred billion." A middle-aged man's voice sounded, full of confidence.

The others quieted down one after another, thinking to themselves, "This person was really putting in a lot of effort. He's investing five billion in a school project?"

The middle-aged man stood up and said to Professor Mosen, "Professor, I am willing to invest five billion in the project you set up for the school. But at the same time, I hope that your name can not only be limited to the publicity of the school but can also be used in some special projects of our Yates Group."

"There are conditions, indeed." Thinking to himself, Mosen smiled and asked, "Are there any other friends to offer a price? If not, I'll have this Mr. Yates."

The scene was quiet. Sure enough, money could make ghosts push and grind. As everyone knew, Mosen did not like to show up in public. He had not even participated in the national speech invitations a few times before.

And this time, Mr. Yates's request was really too much commercialization. It was basically equivalent to Mosen selling himself to Yates Group!

Five billion was indeed too tempting.

Just when everyone thought that the opportunity to cooperate would definitely be obtained by Mr. Yates, Professor Mosen's eyes suddenly focused on a corner in the front row, "Little girl, are you raising your hand?"

Rowena nodded and took a few steps forward to adjust the tone of her fake voice, "Yes, Professor."

Everyone's eyes were focused on the little girl who raised her hand at the end. A purple dress made her tall figure look even more elegant and moving. She took the microphone handed over by the host. Her movements were graceful and generous, softening all the edges and corners. The gentle image made people's eyes light up.

But... No matter how one looked at her, she was just a young woman. What could she say?

"Dr. Mosen, my financial support may not be as good as Mr. Yates's, but it will also be a gift—three hundred billion."

Indeed, it was a large amount of money. Everyone sighed silently, "This girl can make such a big decision?"

"But, miss, I'm here to solicit commercial sponsorship today. You should understand that this is about the price." Mosen replied with a smile.

"However, my company can provide full service to the teacher's project. If we accept the teacher's project, all our investment and all the company's construction funds will be run with your project as the center."

Uproar. The onlookers were thinking to themselves, "To put the entire company in for a project? One has to know that although the establishment of a school could make a profit, the profit margin is far less than the increase in other projects. As for a company with opening a school as its goal, is it to transform into a charity organization?"

"Miss, did you sneak in? Did your company receive an invitation?"

"Don't cause trouble here. If you're just a small company, even if you win over Professor Mosen's project, you won't have the ability to operate it."

"This three hundred billion shouldn't be all the capital of your company, right?"

In the face of everyone's doubts, Rowena did not explain. She just looked at the old man sitting on the podium. Her eyes did not wander at all, quietly waiting for his reply.

She was like a devout believer, looking forward to her faith and sincere response.

There were no distractions in her heart.

"Kid, if I am not wrong," Mosen's expression did not change, but his tone hid some anticipation. His slightly chaotic eyes because of aging focused on her face, "You must be the CEO of the Heartbeating."

Rowena smiled. Although there was a veil covering her face, one could still vaguely see the curve in the corner of her eyes. She nodded, "Yes, professor."

The onlookers were wondering, "Heartbeating? The business that rose rapidly in recent years?"

Although it mainly operated on psychology, its commercial improvement was surprisingly good. When the company was first founded, no one looked favorably upon this company that seemed to only have fun—who had ever heard of a company that specializes in psychology?

However, amid everyone's disdain, this company actually grew rapidly. Now, if one was looking for a random psychological counseling room on the side of the road, there was a high chance that it belonged to Heartbeating. Obviously, in the field, i.e., psychological counseling, where most people were not interested in getting involved and where commercial competition almost didn't exist, Heartbeating already occupied the absolute advantage that could not be chased.

And what was even more puzzling was the identity of this company's CEO. Ever since the establishment of Heartbeating, this legendary existence had never appeared in public again.

The onlookers continued to wonder, "Did we see the real person today?"

Behind Rowena, Sebastian's gaze remained fixed on her. He had to admit, today, this young woman was truly dazzling. In fact... whether it was her grace, poise, or her boldness and capability, she was someone who could stand on equal footing with him.

For the first time, he felt a genuine sense of admiration toward a woman, one that came from the depths of his heart.

She stood in front of him, and with the gentlest tone, she represented the company that she had founded. She seemed to be weak and easy to bully, but each word was counted and unstoppable.

"Alright, would this young lady and Mr. Yates please follow me for a private discussion." Morrison stood up from the stage, bowing slightly to the crowd as a gesture of respect.

Rowena followed Mosen, Henry, and the staff to a closed conference room at the venue. Mosen motioned for her to stop, "Miss, please wait outside for a moment. I will talk to Mr. Yates first."

Rowena nodded in agreement and stood outside the door.

"Hey, see you again." A string of Greek words came through. Rowena turned around and saw the Greek girl she had met in the mall. She was wearing a blue dress and standing behind Rowena with a smile.

"You... can recognize me?" Rowena was surprised and asked in Greek.
