Chapter 38 A Misunderstanding

"Uncle, Mom is not in a relationship. If you want to chase her, you have to be early." Mia saw that Rowena had been hesitating. She was anxious for her. If she acted like this, what if the handsome uncle misunderstood?

“Mia Gale." Leo stood aside and reacted faster than Rowena and called his sister by her full name, "Speak little. Don't interrupt when adults are talking."

But he usually interrupted.

Mia whispered in her heart. But from her brother's expression, she knew he was serious. She lowered her little head and stopped talking.

Sebastian did not understand what the three of them were saying. Rowena did not have a boyfriend, so how could she come here?

But Rowena noticed that something was wrong with Leo. As far as she knew, he should have never seen Sebastian before. Today should be the first time. Why was he not surprised at all when he saw someone who looked like him?

And Sebastian... was too calm.

She had so many questions. But she made an introduction for Sebastian, "Mr. Laird, these are my two children. You've seen the girl before. Her name is Mia. And the boy you met for the first time today. His name is Leo."

Rowena emphasized the words "the first time".

"Yes." Sebastian was getting more and more confused. What exactly was going on with Rowena? Previously, she tried hard to hide this little boy so that even the two children had to sneak in when they came to see him. What was wrong with her today? Why did she introduce them frankly?

"Mom." Leo did not bow and greet the uncle as usual. Instead, he pulled Rowena. He deliberately ignored Sebastian."When will Uncle Jameson come? Didn't he say he wanted to accompany you?"

"He is still on his way." Rowena checked her watch, tilted her head to calculate the time, and said, "He should be there in about ten minutes."

"Jameson?" Sebastian asked calmly. He didn't even notice the coldness in his tone, "You are here to participate in the tour group for couples with him?"

"..." Every word he said was right, but why did the sentence have a different meaning?

Rowena did not know how to answer.

Wasn't it all his fault? Why did he have to sign up for a trip for couples? Their relationship was not tense before but became awkward and even worse because of her appearance.

How could they talk about cooperation? Especially that kind of cooperation.

"Mom has always been in a good relationship with Uncle Jameson." Rowena remained silent, giving Leo a chance to "sow discord." "Uncle Jameson and Mom met when we were one year old. He brought us up. Although they have not married, Mia and I have already regarded him as a family member."

A family member? This kid just meant that Jameson was his father.

Sebastian's face kept turning dark. He was thinking about what he had said to him last time to make him so hostile to him.

"Hey, Leo, that's not what you told me." Mia poked Leo with her chubby little finger."Didn't you say we don't look like Uncle Jameson, so he can't be our dad?"

"Don't talk." Leo shot a serious look at Mia, "I'll tell you when we get home."

“What a joke. How could his mother be with this playboy? He and Mom already had two kids, and yet this guy didn't even know they existed. What could this kind of man do?” Leo thought bitterly. “It would be better to have Jameson Uncle as their dad—at least then, Mom wouldn't get hurt anymore.”

"Leo, what happened?" Among the four of them, only Rowena knew nothing. She had no idea why the atmosphere was so tense. She just thought that Leo was too serious today.

As they were in a deadlock, the tour guide's clear voice interrupted.

"The two of you... no, the four of you, please follow me." The tour guide smiled meaningfully. They already had children, yet they still came to participate in the tour group for couples. Was this to bring the children back to the happy times when they were dating?

The two adults turned back at the same time and looked at the tour guide.

Sebastian said, "Sorry, we are all waiting for someone."

Waiting for someone? Did they have more children?

The tour guide smiled even more brightly, "Haha, the two of you have such a good relationship. With so many children, you still don't forget to be romantic in life. Don't worry. This trip will surely not disappoint you."

Not only did they have a good relationship, but they must also have good physical stamina.

She secretly felt a little envious in her heart. It would be great if she had such a considerate husband.

"Eh." Rowena understood that this tour guide had already imagined many things and thought she and Sebastian were a pair, "You misunderstood..."

Before she could finish speaking, Jameson dragged his suitcase over.

At first glance, he saw Rowena and Sebastian standing together. At that time, his heart tightened. He ran fastly in their direction, but the tour guide blocked him on the way.

"Sir, please come with me." The tour guide said apologetically, "We could have two more people sit in this cabin, but you saw it." She glanced at Rowena and Sebastian, "They also brought two... or maybe three children. So you might need to sit in the other cabin."

Jameson's face darkened bit by bit.

Although he knew this was a misunderstanding, the feeling of losing control had made him very depressed. Now he happened to see this scene.

Under the sunlight, Rowena and Sebastian stood together, and there were two children beside them. With the sea as the background, they were like a harmonious and happy family.

He knew that he should go directly to Rowena's side at this time and tell the others with action that she was his girl.

But his feet felt like they were nailed to the deck, unable to move an inch.

Instead, Rowena pulled the two children and walked toward Jameson, "Jameson, the guide misunderstood it. I will go to the other cabin with you."

The tour guide was also confused and scratched her head. Just as she was wondering which the couple was, another voice interrupted.

"Sebastian? Why did you come over here by yourself? Didn't you say you were waiting for me at the entrance?" Rosalind called out, dragging her suitcase hurriedly toward them.
