Chapter6 Apoogize to Miss Hall!2

After a while, the taxi driver said, "Miss, we've arrived."

Olivia snapped back to reality, paid the fare, and got out of the car.

Unfortunately, the weather took a turn for the worse, and it started drizzling.

Olivia came out here on short notice, so she didn’t bring an umbrella with her. Her clothes were soon soaked by the rain. She hurriedly ran towards the club.

Olivia arrived at the front desk and said, "Hello, I'm looking for Mr. Adams."

"Please come with me." Soon, the front desk attendant led Olivia to the door of a private room. She knocked and led Olivia inside.

Inside the room sat Alex, accompanied by several unfamiliar men and women.

Olivia quickly walked over and sat next to Alex.

With a displeased expression, Alex furrowed his brows and asked, "Why did you let yourself get into this state?"

Olivia whispered, "I didn't bring an umbrella."

She looked pitiful while shivering from the cold.

Alex took off his coat and draped it over her to keep her warm.

Olivia said, "Thank you."

Gary glanced at Alex and asked with interest, "Boss, you've finally changed. You have a good eye. This girl looks pure enough..."

Olivia was startled.

Her gaze fell on the person who had just spoken, and she pursed her lips. Eventually, she remained silent.

Gary added, "Are those scratches on your arm made by this girl? Seems you had quite an exciting time together."

Olivia's gaze shifted to Alex's arms, and it did seem like she had scratched him.

Alex's large hand rested on Olivia's shoulder, his gaze deep as he introduced, "Gary Miller, Peter Hunt."

Olivia hurriedly greeted, "Nice to meet you, Mr. Miller, Mr. Hunt."

Her voice was sweet.

"Hello, Mrs. Adams..." Gary took a sip of his drink and said deliberately.

At his words, Olivia blushed slightly.

Alex's face darkened, his icy gaze falling on Gary. "Do you have a death wish?"

Upon hearing this, Gary quickly shut his mouth.

A man sitting opposite him sneered, "In Mr. Tres’s opinion, only Alice can be his wife. This woman is not worthy.”

Peter had been silent the entire time.

It was the first time Olivia had heard this name. It seemed that this woman was very important to Alex.

She did not say anything because she knew that she could stay by Alex’s side only because she needed money and he needed her body. This was simply a trade. Olivia reminded herself not to develop any feelings for Alex.

"Come over and pour me a drink." The one speaking was Davy Haynes, everyone in this circle knew that he was notorious and lustful.

Gary smirked while staring intently at Olivia.

Olivia looked up at Alex to seek his opinion.

With a cold gaze, Alex looked over at Davy, who quickly shrunk his neck and apologized, "Sorry, Mr. Adams, I was just joking."

Alex's icy gaze fell on him. "This joke isn't funny. Apologize to Miss Hall."

Upon hearing this, Davy nearly jumped with anger.

He thought, ‘She is just your mistress. How can I apologize to her?’

Davy sat still, refusing to move.

Alex added, "Why? Do you think my woman doesn't deserve your apology?"

Davy was startled.

He thought, ‘What did Alex mean by his woman?’

Although he was unwilling, he said to Olivia, "I'm sorry."

"Is that your attitude for apologizing?" Alex's cold tone sounded again.

Olivia didn't want to cause trouble for Alex. She looked up at him.

In the instant their eyes met, Alex signaled her not to be nervous.

Despite his reluctance, Davy knew he couldn't afford to offend Alex. If he did, not only would he be finished, but the entire Haynes family would suffer.
