Aurora got more and more worked up as she talked, her eyes getting red.

She had to turn away to wipe her tears. The whole thing had really scared her.

I wanted to tell her not to worry or be mad, but all I could say was a quiet "Aurora, I've made up my mind."

Aurora looked at me. "About what?"

"I want a divorce." I let out a deep breath, feeling lighter than I had in two weeks. "I'm done with Richard."
