Conrad shot him a playful look. "Your girlfriend?"

"Just a client I happened to help," Ethan replied smoothly.

"Right. Well, get her checked in and we'll start an IV drip soon."

Ethan handled everything - got her settled in a room and covered all the bills upfront.

Lila wanted to thank him but the pain was too much.

She dozed off pretty quick.

When she came to, the IV was already out.

She felt better.
