Chapter 3

Tyler adjusted his trousers and smirked. "It’s just not as fun in the office. Why don’t we head to the utility room tomorrow? And maybe call Marcus..."

Sarah tossed the tissues into the bin, her voice hoarse and weak. "You guys just love using me, don’t you?"

The two of them slowed down for a moment, then left, laughing and chatting, while I remained frozen in place, unable to move.

I could hardly believe what I had just heard!

Marcus Wilson? The head of our class? He was always so polite, respectful to teachers—how could he be involved with Sarah?

And Tyler mentioned the gym utility room? As far as I knew, that place was usually quiet, almost deserted except during training hours.

Could the three of them really be...?

The shock of the night was so overwhelming that I stayed frozen for a good two minutes before finally crawling out from under the table.

Just as I stood up, Sarah leaned against the doorway and flicked on the light.

"So you didn’t leave after all."

The sudden brightness, which I hadn't seen in a while, stung my eyes. I didn’t say a word, the atmosphere thick with awkwardness.

After a few moments, Sarah broke the silence. "You’re not going to tell anyone, are you?"

I pursed my lips. "You’re playing with fire."

Sarah ruffled her hair and smiled lazily, her eyes relaxing. "Who’s going to know if you don’t spill? After being a widow for so long, don’t you want to give it a try?"

Her voice was soft, but it sent a wave of panic through me.

It had been a long time since I’d felt that, not since my husband passed away.

To say I didn’t crave it at all would definitely be a lie.

Thinking back to what I had just witnessed, my heart trembled, and a tingling sensation spread through my whole body again.

Sarah seemed to sense my inner turmoil and leaned in close, her voice dripping with mischief. "Why don’t you let Tyler give you a good time? He’s as strong as an ox—he’ll drive you wild."
