I purposely chose a time when everyone was resting, yet I still ran into someone.
At the door of Ethan's cabin.
"Do you need something?"
Lily, hands behind her back, swaying shyly, looked at Ethan with timid eyes. "Evan, do you live here alone? I was worried you might be scared, so I came to keep you company."
"I've been living here alone for over a month. What's there to be afraid of? Miss Moore, it's late. You'd better head back. If someone sees us, it might cause misunderstandings."
"I'm a celebrity and I'm not afraid. What are you worried about?"
Lily moved closer instead of backing off.
Her seductive voice echoed in the dark night.
"Evan, you really look like a high school classmate of mine. Even your names are similar. But he's married now, and he's blind. He chose some rich girl over a beauty like me. What poor taste."
Her face twisted as she said this, but it was only for a moment before she smiled at Ethan again. "You're different. Although you look a bit like him, you're taller, more muscular, more mature, and manlier. I really admire you."
I stood silently nearby, speechless.
He's just grown into his looks and filled out his face, and you can't recognize him?
Seems you didn't like the old Ethan that much after all.
Lily's cheeks flushed as she excitedly tried to throw herself at Ethan.
Ethan dodged, dropping all politeness. "Miss Moore, please control yourself."
"I'm a big star throwing myself at you, what more do you want? With me, you'll have endless money and won't have to live in a place like this. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, think it through. Too much restraint is just fake modesty."
Ethan replied seriously, "I'm married. I love my wife very much."
"You're married?"
Lily was surprised but still smiled, "Is your wife as beautiful as me? As rich as me? Does she have a body like mine?"
"In my heart, she's the best in the world."
Lily gritted her teeth, about to say something else, when I coughed.
Realizing someone was there, she immediately got nervous, said a hasty goodbye, and left.
After she left, I slowly emerged.
"Babe!"
