"Baby, why are you here? Did you miss me? I've missed you so much!"

Ethan was overjoyed to see me, almost crying.

"Honey, do you know how tough this month has been for me?"

"You're so heartless! Jack told you how miserable I've been, and you didn't even react. Look at my waist, my face, my arms and legs - you can see how terrible this month's been. I'm so skinny I'm unrecognizable!"

Ethan clung to my legs, sobbing. I glanced at him coldly and called his bluff, "Really? Looks like you've been doing just fine. Your charm's intact - that big star was throwing herself at you."

His body froze. He looked up, "You saw all that."

"Yeah, I've been here since this morning."

He jumped up excitedly, proudly saying, "Then you must've seen how I was basically invisible to other women."

Ethan leaned in, fishing for praise, "Honey, didn't I do well? Can you forgive me, hm?"

"Forgiving you so easily would be letting you off too lightly."

"Aw, when can I come home then?"

"We'll see how I feel about it."

I turned to leave.

"Honey, where are you going?"

"Back to bed."

"You're not sleeping with me?"

His voice was full of disappointment.

Without hesitation, I refused, "No way, you stink!"

The next day during filming, as soon as Ethan arrived, he searched the whole place for me.

However, there were many girls dressed like me on set. With everyone bustling about and people coming and going, it was hard to distinguish individuals. Plus, he had Lily clinging to him.

I cursed silently. After all these years, Lily's gotten way more shameless than she used to be.

Yesterday's rejection didn't deter Lily; instead, it sparked her competitive spirit.

According to the rules, teams were supposed to be reshuffled today, but she insisted on staying with Ethan.

"Oh, we built such good teamwork yesterday. Evan's shy, what if he can't adjust to a new partner?"

"Wow, Lily's so thoughtful."

"Evan is so lucky to have such a beautiful woman as his partner."
