The moment she left, Ethan's true colors came out. He put on a pitiful expression.
"Honey, were you just outside the door? You heard everything, right? That mean woman was bullying your husband. You gotta get revenge for me!"
I glanced at him without a word, silently applying medicine to his injury.
Ethan leaned in, "Honey, why so quiet? What are you thinking about?"
I looked up at him and snorted. "Well, well, Mr. Sinclair. Looks like your charm is off the charts. Even dressed like this, you've got starlets throwing themselves at you. Aren't you just living the dream?"
He gave me a "please spare me" look. "You want this dream life? It's all yours if you want it."
"Sure, send a few handsome guys my way."
"Mia!"
"Just kidding, just kidding."
After applying the medicine, Ethan eagerly asked when he could go home.
I thought about it. Since I had invested in the show, if Ethan left, we'd need to find a replacement, which would cost time and money.
There were only a few days left anyway, so might as well finish filming before leaving.
Although Ethan was reluctant, I held all the power at home now, with his parents' support. He didn't dare disobey and had to listen obediently.
Satisfied seeing him so frustrated, I patted his cheek teasingly, "Don't be upset. How about I give you a gift?"
He looked puzzled, "What gift? Letting me go home right now would be the best gift."
Here we go again!
I pointed to the hidden camera in the upper left corner.
After seeing Lily here last night, I guessed she'd come back again.
While they were doing tasks during the day, I had my staff install cameras in Ethan's cabin, connected to my phone. It was to prevent Lily from harassing Ethan when I wasn't around. I didn't expect to actually catch her red-handed.
I'm keeping this "big gift" to myself. As long as Lily behaves and finishes filming the remaining episodes, I won't release it.
Hmph, I'm worried about damaging our Ethan's reputation by associating with someone like her!
