Chapter 14

I shoved him away and continued, “Isn’t Jasmine pregnant with your child? So, what? You can cheat, but I can’t?”

Christopher was left speechless by my words, staring at me in disbelief.

He probably never imagined that I’d turn into someone so unrecognizable to him.

While he was still in shock, I opened the door and walked out.

I realized that every moment spent facing him filled me with utter disgust.

I couldn’t stay in that place a second longer.

I sent Asher a message and left.

But just as I reached the lobby, Jasmine stopped me.

She stood in front of me, her pregnant belly bulging, clearly having waited for me.

These two really are a perfect match, taking turns to make me sick.

“Stay away from my brother!” she demanded.

I laughed and asked, “Will you stay away from my husband?”

Jasmine fell silent.

I walked closer to her and reached out to touch her swollen belly. “This child is my husband’s, right? How many months along are you?”

She was so frightened that she didn’t even dare to breathe.

“Miss Sullivan, you’ve interfered in my family, but you won’t allow me to interfere in yours? How can you be so hypocritical?” I chuckled.

Jasmine’s face grew darker and darker.

“Grace Bennett, this is between you and me. Leave my brother out of it,” she said, trembling.

“Leave him out of it?” I stopped smiling. “You’ve been using my money to support your brother!”

“That’s Christopher’s money!”

“Miss Sullivan, don’t you know the law? Christopher and I are legally married. Every cent he spends on you—half of it is mine! And furthermore, the money he’s been spending on you is what my parents gave him!”

“You’ve been using my parents’ hard-earned money to take care of your brother. You should be feeling guilty.”
