Chapter 2

In the administration office.

"Dianne? Are you sure you won't reconsider the early admission offer? It's the only spot our school has!"

I took a deep breath, trying to suppress the chaotic memories of my past life.

"Teacher, I've made my decision."

The admissions officers and administrators showed looks of disappointment.

But I quickly added, "Thank you for believing in me. I accept the early admission."

My previous refusal had been so firm that my homeroom teacher was caught off guard. "Oh... what made you change your mind?"

"You're right – a bird in hand is worth two in the bush," I said, quickly filling out the form.

"One more thing," I said seriously.

"Could you keep my early admission confidential? I don't want it affecting other students' test prep."

The teacher thought for a moment, then smiled knowingly. "You're worried about Jenny, aren't you? Don't worry, I understand. You're such a good sister."

In my past life, being called a "good sister" would have made me happy.

Since childhood, our parents always stressed that I should take care of Jenny.

Now?

Heh.

Leaving the office, I returned to the classroom.

Jenny was already waiting at her desk.

"Dianne, what did the teacher want?"

I stared at that innocent face for a long while.

Honestly, we don't look particularly alike. Back in our childhood neighborhood, there were rumors I wasn't biological family. Our parents always told me to ignore it, explaining we're fraternal twins.

But regardless of everything, I still can't believe the Jenny I cherished since childhood would frame me and drive me to death!

In my previous life, after Jenny reported me, I was inexplicably taken away.

In the office, they opened the charm bracelet to find a miniature electronic receiver inside.

My heart stopped for a moment.

"But... but during the security check..." My voice was trembling, my heart pounding in my throat.

"You were clever enough to turn off the receiver beforehand!"

"To think the top student cheated her way through – we're reporting this to her college!"

Then, my parents beat me severely, cursing me for bringing shame to the family.

The school administrators were utterly disappointed, and students whispered about me everywhere I went.

"Top Mock Exam Student Caught Cheating" became trending news.

I faced unprecedented cyberbullying, ultimately leading me to jump from the school roof.

All these memories remained crystal clear.
