I felt my face flush and my body tingle - sensations I hadn't experienced in ages.

I closed my eyes shyly, secretly wishing he'd come closer, just a little closer...

Hannah nudged me. "Why are you closing your eyes?"

I realized Roy was already standing several feet away, discussing something with Tristan, occasionally glancing our way.

Hannah tugged at my safety rope, explaining that as beginners, we'd need to rappel down with them.

"You mean... holding onto them?"

My heart raced at the thought of being pressed against Roy. He seemed to notice, flashing me a smile. "Welcome to the team!"

After preparations, Tristan and his girlfriend went first. I stood nervously at the cave entrance until Roy suggested I watch Hannah for guidance.

Hannah was already in position, her legs wrapped around Tristan like an octopus, pressed tightly against him.

I wanted to remind her that Tristan had a girlfriend, but Hannah looked like she was enjoying herself, and Tristan didn't seem to mind.

Seeing my hesitation, Roy chuckled softly, asking if I was ready.

"Just put your arms around my shoulders, and keep your legs against mine."

Roy's suggested position seemed reasonable enough.

As we began our descent alongside them, I noticed Hannah's flushed face and heavy breathing, her tongue occasionally darting across her lips.

When I whispered asking if she felt okay, she just shook her head and shifted position, drawing a low groan from Tristan.

The sound echoed through the cave, making everyone blush.

Vicky, already below, shined her headlamp up curiously.

Looking down at the beam of light into the darkness, I instinctively clung tighter to Roy.

His Adam's apple bobbed as he adjusted his grip, his large hands supporting me from below.

The warmth of his touch made me let out a soft sound.

Tristan and Roy exchanged looks before warning us to hold tight as they picked up speed.

The sudden drop made Hannah and me scream.

Our voices bounced off the cave walls three times, making us both blush furiously, while Roy and Tristan remained perfectly composed.

About fifteen minutes later, we finally joined Vicky at the bottom.

Vicky was petite and cute, with a sweet, innocent vibe.

"First time caving? Pretty impressive how Roy and my boyfriend handled it, right?"

She proudly held Tristan's hand while showing off.
