Chapter 7

Huang Rong nervously scanned the payment QR code first. After the bearded man confirmed the payment, he immediately ordered his men to delete all videos of her, and under her supervision, they didn't keep any copies.

Seeing they weren't lying, Sophie followed suit. After the payment went through with a 'ding', the bearded man waved his hand, and did the same for her.

Now it was my turn. Several malicious gazes turned to me, silently pressuring me.

"Miss Sun, hurry up, don't waste everyone's time."

What's done is done - clearly I wouldn't be able to leave without paying the 100,000. Sophie anxiously tugged at my sleeve, whispering, "Manman, just pay them. Getting out of this with money is the best outcome."

I took a deep breath, swallowing my anger, and had to transfer them the money. Watching them delete the footage, my racing heart finally started to calm down a bit.

I had to accept my fate this time - we'd been set up. Especially with such private photos involved, I couldn't risk making a big deal out of it and had to take the loss.

Before we could even leave, the group gathered excitedly to split their earnings, occasional cheers bursting out.

As I was leaving, the bearded man suddenly called me back, his sinister gaze piercing with ice-cold malice.

"Miss Sun, don't even think about going to the police after this. If you dare call the cops, I have a hundred ways to make you disappear from this world without a trace."

His threat didn't seem empty - these guys looked like desperate criminals who had nothing to lose. I wasn't about to challenge them, so I obediently nodded. But secretly, I burned their faces into my memory, planning my next move.

I wasn't going to let this go. How did they know all three of us would be getting spa treatments at that time? And what a "coincidence" that one of the male masseurs knew me, even knew about my identity and online store. Could this really all be just chance?
