Sophie and I covered our mouths in shock. Our minds went blank, like we'd been struck by lightning, every nerve in our bodies trembling.

This was an illegal casino! While Sophie was still speechless, she suddenly spotted a familiar face.

"Manman, look - isn't that Huang Rong?"

Following her gesture, I spotted an all-too-familiar figure in the crowd. The woman was wearing a red dress, sitting at the center of a table with mountains of chips in front of her. She had an almost maniacal smile on her face, surrounded by several handsome young men.

Looking closer, I recognized one of them - the same massage therapist who had called me "teacher"!

The woman in the middle of that crowd was like a completely different person - nothing like the mild-mannered Teacher Huang we knew.

Who would've thought she was living such a wild double life?

I quietly took out my phone and snapped pictures of her at the gambling table. Now I was certain - she must have planned that whole scam that day.

After gathering evidence, Sophie and I slipped out of the bathhouse and back to our car.

"Manman, what should we do now? Call the cops?" Sophie asked.

I shook my head. "No, they might try to turn this around on us. We'd end up in hot water too."

"Let's confront her directly."

I cropped one of the photos and sent it to Huang Rong with a simple message, "Let's talk. Now."

Soon after, Huang Rong called.

I put the phone on speaker and secretly started recording. "Manman, what's with this picture?" Her voice was shaking - she was clearly rattled.

Sophie burst out angrily, "We know everything, Huang Rong. We can't believe you're involved in illegal gambling!"

She tried playing dumb, "What are you talking about? I don't understand."

I cut straight to the point, "Drop the act. We saw you at the bathhouse with our own eyes, including that handsome masseur who worked on me that day!"

Sophie was fuming, her face turning blue with anger. "You planned that whole thing to scam us out of our money! I thought you were a real friend. Pay us back now!"
