Chapter 5 Slapped The Homewrecker

I wasn't afraid of her, but there was no way I'd get in her car.

After that, Vanessa's expression changed instantly. She got out of the car and stood right in front of me. She looked about 5'8", but with her 2-inch heels, she towered over me by a head.

She had that rich princess attitude, but I still wasn't scared of her.

She sneered, "You got lucky for an orphan. Not only did Theo pay for your education, but he even married you. You're so young―it's surprising his family even agreed to let someone of his status marry someone like you."

I glared at her. Despite her height, great figure, and pretty face, she wasn't exactly young anymore.

But I knew I could match her looks, and my youth was definitely an advantage.

So, I shot back, "Theron married me because he loves me. Who are you to come here and provoke me, questioning both Theron's and his family's judgment?"

If I wasn't pregnant and I knew Theron loved someone else, maybe I'd just leave.

But now I was carrying our baby. So, for our child's sake, I wanted to fight for our marriage. I refused to let my baby be born without a father. My child wouldn't grow up like me, never knowing where their parents were.

Theron was my only family in this world. I really wanted to give our unborn child a complete family.

Vanessa looked furious. Stepping closer with a vicious look, she said, "If I hadn't left back then, do you think you'd have any chance with Theron? Besides being young, you have nothing."

I laughed and deliberately said, "Yeah, you are right, my man does like my youth. And since you left him, you belong to his past, hag. I'm his wife now―we're married. You should know your place and stop bothering."

"You..." Vanessa looked livid; her face was turning red. "Did you just call me hag?"

"Well, yes," I raised an eyebrow. "You're the one who brought up my age."

She looked like she wanted to hit me but violence may have been beneath her high-class status.

She glared at me and said hatefully, "You're his wife? Why don't you ask him why he married you? Even if I left him for ten, twenty years, he'd still marry me when I came back. You're just a toy for his physical needs since I wasn't around."

"What did you say?" I gritted my teeth in anger, clenching my fists tightly.

"I'm just here to tell you one thing: don't fool yourself. Theron didn’t marry you because he loves you. With me around, you're nothing!"

I couldn't take it anymore. I stepped forward and slapped her hard across the face.
