I shoved him away, my frustration boiling over. "Adrian, what the hell are you trying to do?! Are you confusing me with Aria again? Just stop it! Quit playing these stupid games!"

His gaze softened, unusually tender. That look… it almost made me believe he still loved me. But how could that be possible?
