Adrian stared at me in shock, his eyes flashing with anger.

After a long silence, he finally spoke. "If that's what you want, go ahead."

"Fine by me," I smiled back.

Adrian clenched his fists and closed his eyes, clearly trying to hold himself together.

Minutes later, he turned and left, taking the wedding dress with him.
