I jolt awake on the couch, confused and disoriented.

A loud noise woke me, but I couldn't tell what it was. Looking around the room, I see Archer thrashing in the bed, tangled in sheets, screaming. His screams are getting more piercing.

"NO, PLEASE NO," he screams.

I rush from the couch to the bed and gently shake him. His eyes snap open, blood-red, staring right at me. He hisses.
