I walk into the kitchen and find William there. Stella goes up to him and gives him a kiss on the cheek. William smiles at her, then turns to me with a smile.

"Hey, Ava," he says.

I haven't seen William since our talk, though I know he wants to spend time with Sophia and me. But with everything going on, it's been hard to even catch our breath, let alone do anything else.
