I watch my best friend fall to the ground next to his mate.

"DADDY!" Sophia screams.

Acting quickly, I tell Isabella, who rushes to my side, "Take Sophia to the hospital for a check-up." I can sense how worried she is about her friend. Isabella lifts Sophia into her arms and heads back to the packhouse.
