Chapter 36 Wild Boar

The rustling sound grew louder, and emerging from the thicket were not the adult wild boars Jackson had expected, but two small piglets. They circled around the boar’s lifeless body, making squeaky, childish noises.

The piglets didn’t seem very large. Jackson, using the butt of his rifle, knocked one of them out with a single strike. Although they screamed loudly, they lacked any real means of defense.
