Epilogue

Epilogue

Five years later ….

The wind blew softly through the trees, and the flowers bloomed, showing off their vibrant colors in the light. The Gazebo was wrapped in large vines with beautiful flowers that started to blossom.

Colson stood anxiously next to the Gazebo while waiting for the ceremony to start. He felt a tap on his shoulder and leaned back to listen to the person beside him.

“Thanks for letting me be a part of your day, big brother,” Ophelia whispered before taking her seat in the front row.

Colson gave her a reassuring nod before returning his attention to the back row, where he waited for the music to start and his beautiful bride to enter.

The music started as everyone turned in their seats to watch the procession. Tabitha and Marco were the first to walk down the aisle, followed by Hudson and Amanda. Colson watched as his buddy and Beta Zane walked down with his newly found mate Trinity. And last but definitely not least were Vita and Deak.

Colson chuckled as the next attention-getters were next in the line-up. Nolan, Amanda and Hudson’s son, who was four, was the ring bearer—followed by Zachary and Ruby’s little girl Maddie who was three, who tried her best at being the flower girl. There was giggling amongst the crowd as the adorable kids made their way down the row. The music changed as the guests began to rise from their seats and turned to look at the blushing bride.

Colson sucked in a breath as his heart beat against his chest when he saw his mate at the end of the aisle. Gretchen looked radiant in her gown as she hooked her arm under her Uncle Zachary’s. They slowly glided down the footpath until Gretchen met up with Colson at the front. He shook Zachary’s hand before taking Gretchen’s hands into his. He raised her hands to his lips and kissed each of them before turning and facing the officiator of the ceremony, Merida.

As the ceremony began, Vita looked around at their friends and family with a smile; it seemed unbelievable to her that five years had already passed since that unforgettable day back in Silver City.

It seemed like yesterday when after they came back, Zachary and Ruby decided to get married before returning to their lives back at the college and her cafe.

Tabitha and Marco returned to finish college before settling down and completing their bond. Hudson gave them the title of ambassador of the pack and had them attend meetings held in Silver City or anywhere around the world. They finally had their mating ceremony last year during the autumn season.

Deak stepped up to his duties as Lycan King and rehabilitated all the communities his uncle had condemned. He helped families and small businesses rebuild, bringing the neighborhoods back together.

Vita smiled as she reminisced at the memory of their small wedding, which they held in the garden at Deak’s house. It was shortly after their ceremony that Deak decided to turn the ancestral place into a school for young witches.

Vita and Gretchen with Amanda, too, in her spare time between being a mom and Luna to her pack. Help teach and guide future witches into harnessing their craft.

Vita looked at her friend and laughed when she caught Amanda scratching her large tummy. She was due any day, and Vita could tell she was uncomfortable. But that didn’t matter to Amanda. She fought tooth and nail to be put on the bridesmaid list; she didn’t care how she looked in her dress as long as she got to stand next to her friends on this joyous occasion.

Vita turned and looked over at Ruby, who held both Nolan and Maddie in her arms, and sighed with bliss. She found Esha sitting closer to the back, with Jasper beside her. Vita squinted and saw three men standing far back between the trees; her heart raced as she realized who they were.

Logan lowered his frames and shook his head at the young mother-to-be; he was only there to watch the ceremony and nothing more.

Vita smiled softly to herself as she cradled her small pouch. She was eight weeks with her first and was anxious to tell everyone the great news at the reception. Vita felt a shiver run through her and immediately looked up to find herself staring into her mate’s icy blue eyes. Vita tried to hide her smirk as she stared back at her protective mate. She shook her head before she blew a kiss at him and watched as his eyes swelled with heat and desire.

Vita sighed with a smile as she turned her attention back to the couple standing in front of the altar.

It was a day they would all remember as it filled another page in their adventurous tale. And as the book’s pages come to an end, they will all reflect back to the beginning when a young teenage girl was Mated to her Bully.
