Chapter 242: Liar!

Nancy was so shy. Charlie finally found a breakthrough this time. If their first time wasn't pleasant, it might be difficult for him to have the chance again.

Maid Heather looked up and down at Charlie, shaking her head. "Young Master Firth, you are healthy and strong. I don't think you need any supplements. But if you want something special, I can give you some ideas."

"Ahem..."

Charlie cleared his throat again. As a grown man, he actually flushed.

"No need."

He waved his hand, finished the milk in his cup in one gulp, and stood up to leave.

Maid Heather watched his back and chuckled. "Hahaha, Young Master Lesser is shy. It's the first time I've seen him like this!"

In the next half month, Nancy kept practicing the piano. She wanted to let Noah see her, so she had to make more effort.

Finally, three days before the competition, Nancy, Charlie, and Luna arrived in Liverton.

Instead of booking their own hotel, they stayed in the hotel provided by the organizers. Because of Charlie's status, Luna and Nancy received good treatment as well.

Lying on the bed in the room, Nancy sighed comfortably. "So comfortable..."

Charlie glanced at her and went into the bathroom with his phone.

A minute later, Nancy's phone vibrated.

She felt around the bed and found her phone. When she opened it, she saw a text message from the bank.

It clearly stated that Charlie transferred 13.14 million to her.

Upon seeing the number, Nancy pouted.

Didn't they agree on 900 million?

Why was there only 13.14 million?

It was not that she wanted more money and thought 13.14 million was not enough. It was just that they had agreed on 900 million before, and now with such a huge discount, it felt like Charlie was trying to lie to her.

She didn't care how much money he gave her, but she was angry that he lied to her.

If he didn't want to give 900 million, he could have just said so. Besides, she didn't even ask for it. He offered it himself, and now he went back on his word...

Charlie came out of the bathroom and saw Nancy covering herself with the blanket. Clearly, she didn't want to talk to him.

"Hehe..."

He chuckled, walked over, and gently grabbed the blanket over Nancy's head, "Nan, it's uncomfortable to sleep like this."

"Hmph!"

Nancy snorted under the blanket and covered her head more tightly. "I don't want to talk to you. Leave me alone."

Charlie knew exactly why she was upset but just smiled without explaining anything. He just picked up his laptop and started working on the sofa.

Nancy stayed under the blanket for a while, realizing that Charlie really wouldn't pay attention to her. She became more and more frustrated, kicked away the blanket, and sat up on the bed.

"You really ignore me?!"

Charlie raised an eyebrow and looked at her with a helpless expression, "You said you didn't want to talk to me, so I can only leave you alone."

"You're annoying!"

Nancy angrily grabbed the pillow behind her and threw it at Charlie. "You liar! If you can't do it, don't make promises. How could you go back on your word? It's so annoying and disappointing!"
