Chapter 272: I'll Make Sure of It

Over the past month, Charlie had been busy with the relocation of the headquarters to Liverton. When Nancy and Charlie arrived in Liverton, most of the work had already been implemented.

Sitting in the large villa in Liverton, Nancy took a comfortable breath and said, "Liverton is great. Even the air is filled with the smell of money."

"Hehe..."

Charlie pulled her into his arms and pointed at the spacious villa. "Nan, this place is not big enough. I want to give you an even bigger house."

"Even bigger?"

Nancy looked around and gasped in surprise. "Isn't this big enough? Liverton is such a valuable place, and this villa is at least four to five hundred square meters. I think it's enough."

"Not enough!"

Charlie held her hand and squeezed it tightly. "I had someone investigate. I just received news a few days ago that someone is selling a fruit orchard in the suburbs. It's about a thousand acres. I want to buy it and build a mansion."

"A mansion?"

Nancy had only seen one mansion in her life, which was the Lesser family's mansion.

When she heard the word "mansion," she couldn't help but think of the magnificent Lesser family's mansion. She smiled excitedly and asked, "Like the Lesser family's mansion?"

Charlie chuckled and nodded. "Yes, like the Lesser family's mansion. I want you to become a ruler in your own right!"

"Hahaha..."

Nancy laughed and playfully pinched his chin. "You're the ruler. I'll just be the ruler's wife."

"Hehe..."

Charlie raised an eyebrow. He liked Nancy's metaphor. "I'll be busy from now on. I'll leave the land purchase to you."

"Uh..."

Nancy extended her small hand to Charlie with a sly smile. "We need money to buy such a large piece of land. How much money do you plan to give me to buy that land?"

Charlie casually placed a bank card on her hand. "This is five billion. Use it to buy me that piece of land!"

Five billion!

Nancy suddenly felt like she had become a wealthy woman. She had never seen so much money in her life!

With a surge of excitement in her heart, she held the card proudly, "I'll make sure of it!"

...

The next morning, Nancy set off.

Charlie sent all the information about the land to her phone.

The land seller was a middle-aged woman, whose husband had just passed away and left her that piece of land.

Nancy drove towards the woman's residence. After thirty minutes, she arrived and stood at the doorstep.

She politely rang the doorbell, and soon someone came to open the door. It was a woman dressed as a housekeeper.

"Hello, I would like to see Emily Wilson."

The housekeeper saw her but didn't ask much. She just stepped aside and let her in.

Nancy was slightly surprised. This housekeeper was interesting. She didn't even ask any questions and just let her in.

After entering, she understood why the housekeeper didn't ask any questions.

In the living room, there were about seven or eight people sitting separately. It was evident that they had all come to buy the land.

Nancy couldn't help but smile. It seemed that the people in Liverton were indeed very wealthy!

"Oh!"

Suddenly, a familiar voice sounded, "Nancy? Do you have the money to buy the land?"
