Chapter 273: How Many More Fathers Have You Recognized?

Nancy could tell who it was from the voice.

The tone was so sarcastic. It was none other than Vivian!

"Humph..."

Nancy smirked, confidently walked forward, and sat on the last single sofa.

"Vivian, it's been a month, and I can't believe you're doing even better. Tell me, how many more fathers have you recognized?"

"Pfft..."

A man burst into laughter, and the others struggled to hold back their laughter.

The fact that Vivian became a daughter of the Lesser family was known to all of Liverton.

If she could be low-key, others wouldn't mock her too much, but after becoming the daughter of the Lesser family, she did everything in a high-profile manner, and everyone in Liverton knew about it.

What was particularly amusing was when she went shopping and found a limited-edition dress that was already taken by another noble girl in the mall. She used her status to intimidate the girl, but the girl naturally didn't want to give up her desired dress. The two of them ended up fighting in the mall.

Vivian lost and was even slapped several times by that girl. In the end, the girl managed to buy the dress.

Vivian cried and complained to Andrew when she returned home, and Andrew had no choice but to buy all the dresses in that store to make her feel better.

This incident spread throughout Liverton with people saying that the eldest son of the Lesser family, who had been away for more than 20 years, had married a whore and gave birth to Vivian.

She didn't behave like a noble lady at all!

Vivian's face turned pale and then red from the laughter of those people. In anger, she yelled at Nancy, "You bitch, how dare you mock me! When you go to the Lesser family's mansion..."

"Enough."

Emily, sitting in the main seat, interrupted Vivian with a smile. It was not that she disliked gossip. She just didn't like Vivian.

Vivian wanted to buy her orchard and had been bragging about how wealthy she was and how Andrew spoiled her as if she was the only one in the world who had a father.

Emily disliked vain people like her, so she couldn't be bothered to listen to her quarrel with Nancy.

She glanced at the people present and smiled, "Now that everyone is here, let's get to the point."

She fiddled with the jade bracelet on her wrist with elegance and composure.

"This orchard was left to me by my husband. Of course, I'm selling it to make money, but it's not just about money. I will sell it to someone who offers a suitable price and meets my expectations."

No one knew what she meant by "her expectations".

The people present were not familiar with Emily, so they were all confused.

Emily looked at the blank paper on the table and smiled, "You all write your desired prices on that paper. After I review them, I will have further discussions with those who offer higher prices."

Nancy blinked and looked down at the stack of white papers on the coffee table.

Emily was indeed clever. Instead of directly letting these people bid, she had them write down the amount they were willing to pay. This way, everyone would write down the highest price they could offer.

It was clear that she cared a lot about money!
