Chapter 277: Your Husband Is Really Good to You

Nancy did not deliberately try to please Emily with the love knot, but she saw that Emily valued those jade beads and they were her husband's heirloom, so she wanted to help her.

Unexpectedly, her unintentional act led to unexpected gains.

She was overjoyed and said, "Ms. Wilson, are you really selling it to me? Weren't you just saying that maybe your husband..."

"Hey!"

Emily smiled at Nancy, "I think since this string of jade beads breaks, it means my husband is telling me who should buy the orchard. I have decided to sell the orchard to you at market price. One billion, what do you think?"

One billion?!

Nancy just wrote down two billion!

It actually decreased by half?!

Nancy shook her head with a smile, "I didn't expect the love knot to be so valuable. I should have been making and selling love knots before."

"Hahaha..."

Emily laughed. She liked Nancy's straightforward personality.

"Come on, Ms. Swinton, help me put it on."

Emily reached out her hand to Nancy, and with her other hand, she handed the love knot to Nancy.

Nancy took the love knot and carefully put it on Emily's wrist. "Ms. Wilson, since we get along so well, you don't have to call me Ms. Swinton anymore. You can call me Nan. My husband and my..."

She was about to say "dad", but when she thought of Andrew, her eyes dimmed and she mumbled, "...my uncle both call me that."

"Well then."

Emily looked at the love knot on her wrist excitedly. "Then don't call me Ms. Wilson either. I'm ten years older than you. Just call me Emily."

Nancy immediately sweetly called out, "Emily."

"Good."

Emily beckoned, and the maid immediately brought the contract for the transfer of the orchard. Nancy only took a quick look and signed her name on it.

"Nan, what do you plan to do with this orchard?"

Nancy put the contract away and put it in her bag. "My husband said he wants to build a mansion and make me the ruler in Liverton in the future!"

Emily was stunned. After pondering Nancy's words, she smiled enviously. "Nan, your husband is really good to you."

"Yes."

Thinking of Charlie, Nancy couldn't help but smile. "He is indeed very good. I'm so lucky to meet him. I have no family left, and he said that he and his family will be my family from now on. I know that he bought this orchard to give me a home where no one dares to look down on me."

"Wow..."

Emily patted Nancy on the shoulder, "Nan, if you had said these words to me from the beginning, then no one else would have had a chance. I value affection the most. The love your husband shows you is enough to move me to sell it to you."

Nancy hugged her bag which contained the contract. Looking at the smile on Emily's face, she was so happy.

Even Emily could be moved by Charlie's love for her. She was, of course, moved too.

She must be very good to Charlie in order to repay his love...
