Chapter 283: Affecting My Performance

The door opened, and Vivian proudly pushed Andrew into Zach's room under the envious and jealous gazes of the crowd.

In the room, Zach sat on the sofa in a sharp suit. He looked to be in his fifties with a mature appearance, but his eyes were bright and filled with the unique aura of an artist.

Andrew smiled and said, "Zach, it's been over twenty years, and you are still so cool!"

Zach seemed surprised, "Andrew, how come you... you are in a wheelchair?"

Andrew waved his hand and said, "It's a long story!"

"Haha..."

Zach stood up and reached out his hand toward Andrew. "You disappeared over twenty years ago. I thought I would never see you again. It's so good to meet today."

Andrew smiled and looked back at Vivian, "Vivi, say hello to Mr. Whitman."

Vivian gave a flattering smile and spoke in a pleasing tone, "Hello, Mr. Whitman."

"She..."

Zach pointed at Vivian and curiously asked Andrew, "She is... your daughter?"

"Hmm."

Andrew nodded with a smile and then sighed, "I planned to meet you when I heard you were coming to Liverton. Vivian is also a famous pianist in our country. I brought her here to learn from you."

"You're flattering me."

Zach immediately waved his hand and said modestly, "Back when we participated in the competition, you were the champion, and I was the runner-up. She can learn from you. I... Hahaha... I can't really teach her much."

Andrew took his hand and smiled, "Zach, we have known each other for a long time, so I won't beat around the bush. I hope Vivi can be your special guest in Liverton, and I hope you can give her the opportunity to perform together with you on stage."

Zach had already guessed Andrew's intention. He just didn't want to say it out loud.

He had to do Andrew this favor anyway.

He looked at Vivian and pointed at the piano in the room, saying, "Vivi, could you please play a piece?"

"Of course."

Vivian had been in the piano world for so many years, so she had the confidence. She politely smiled at Zach and walked to the piano.

After taking a deep breath, she gently placed her hands on the piano keys and gave her all to the performance.

As long as she could perform with Zach, Nancy would no longer be a threat to her, not to mention other people!

So what if Nancy played the piano better than her?

She had Andrew now!

Nancy wasn't Andrew's daughter!

Hahaha...

The more Vivian thought about it, the happier she became. She played exceptionally well, and she even felt that her piano skills had improved.

She turned her head, looking expectantly at Zach.

But Zach stood there with a frown.

"She... doesn't play as well as I imagined. If she were to perform together with me... I have to accommodate her, and it's affecting my performance a bit..."
