Vivian thought that her outstanding performance would be praised, but instead, she was criticized for her lack of skill.
According to Zach, she would be holding him back.
Her face darkened immediately, and she was about to retort when Andrew gave her a stern look. She reluctantly bit her lip and suppressed her anger.
"Zach..."
Andrew pleaded, "You know I have wasted over 20 years of my life. Vivian is my only daughter, and she has some talent for piano. I hope that she can fulfill my dream. Can you help me?"
Zach and Andrew had been good friends since they were young. Zach felt so sorry for Andrew.
As a piano prodigy, Andrew suddenly disappeared, and they didn't see each other again until over 20 years later. How could Zach not feel sorry for him?
"Well, alright."
Zach nodded, squatted down, and gently held Andrew's hand. "Based on our past friendship, I will help you. Young people need opportunities. Maybe in a few years, she might become an international pianist."
"Thank you! Thank you!"
Andrew gratefully shook Zach's hand, his eyes turning slightly red. "Then I will entrust my daughter to you. I hope you can give her some guidance."
"I will."
Zach's eyes also welled up with tears. "Andrew, I really hope that one day we can play a duet on stage again. I hope you won't give up on your dream."
"Hmm."
Andrew nodded vigorously. "I have been cooperating with the doctors, and I believe that soon enough, I will be able to walk again. When that time comes, I will practice hard and strive for the opportunity to perform with you again!"
The two talked for a while before Andrew waved to Vivian.
Vivian walked over, reluctantly thanked Zach, and then pushed Andrew towards the door.
She couldn't understand. Her piano skills were already very good, so why did Zach still not think highly of her?
It seemed like she was really relying on Andrew's connections.
She was really annoyed!
But as soon as they stepped out of the door and met the eager gazes of the people outside, the annoyance in her heart was instantly replaced by vanity.
She smirked, looking at them with a sense of superiority. "You don't have to wait anymore. None of you have a chance!"
Everyone was shocked. "What?"
Vivian lifted her chin, taunting them proudly, "Because Zach has decided to perform with me, so you should leave!"
Everyone became indignant. They all knew Vivian's piano skills well!
Most of them were on par with her, and some even thought that they played better than her. Why didn't they even have a chance to try?
"Vivian, you're despicable! Aren't you ashamed to resort to such methods?"
Vivian sneered at the person smugly. "What do I have to be ashamed of? You don't have a powerful father! Just blame yourself!"
