Eva had already noticed that Charlie had moved to sit next to Alexander. She nodded and stood up to switch seats with Alexander.
Charlie tightly pressed his lips and sat there silently.
Eva smiled gently and turned to look at him. "Charlie."
Charlie didn't even glance in her direction.
Eva smiled indifferently. "Charlie, no offense, but Nancy is really not suitable for you. She doesn't even know who she is. She can't help you in business."
Charlie frowned without saying anything.
Eva went on, "With your social status, you can marry a noble lady from a prestigious family. They are not only knowledgeable but also well-mannered. They and their families can assist you..."
Charlie suddenly turned his head and looked coldly at Eva's beautiful profile.
"Are you well-mannered? Nan greeted you, but how did you respond to her? You may not know, but Nan has a doctorate in clinical medicine and a master's degree in information technology. Is your diploma higher than hers?"
He sneered, "Take a look at yourself before belittling others!"
Eva fell silent.
She knew well that Nancy had excellent academic qualifications, but she simply didn't like her.
So, she naturally ignored Nancy's strengths.
Eva shook her head helplessly and was about to change the subject when Charlie said coldly, "It's a good thing you abandoned me back then. If you are Nan's mother-in-law, she will suffer a lot!"
With that, he stood up and went to sit in Luna's seat without looking back.
After a while, Nancy changed into a gown and returned with Luna.
When she saw Charlie sitting in Luna's seat, she paused for a moment. But as soon as she saw Eva, she realized what had happened.
She was about to walk past Charlie when he held her hand. "Nan, sit next to me."
In other words, he wanted Luna to sit next to Eva.
Luna walked over to sit next to Eva. Nancy sat next to Charlie and glanced at Eva before turning her head and asking softly, "Are you two having a disagreement?"
Charlie coldly shook his head. "No, it's not worth it."
Alas...
Nancy sighed inwardly. This world was really strange.
She didn't know who she was but was eager to know who her parents were. She didn't want to be an orphan without a name.
Charlie had a mother but treated her like an enemy.
Just then, the host walked onto the stage, and the whole audience fell silent.
It was Zach's concert, so naturally, he was the star.
Nancy also quieted down, listening to Zach play a solo for the first time.
He was elegant and skilled, truly displaying the demeanor of a master.
After a few pieces, the host suddenly took the stage and smiled at the audience.
"As we all know, on Zach's global tour, he invites a local young pianist to perform with him at each stop. Now, let me introduce to you the youngest pianist in our country, Vivian Lesser. She will be performing with Zach!"
Vivian, wearing a white gown, gracefully walked onto the stage. She tried to maintain what she believed to be her most beautiful smile and gave a proud glance towards the Lesser family.
